thought the roof was going to take off here in Lancashire last night! phew!! ... got soaked out on my bike yesterday,,right down to undergarments just toying with the idea of going for little ride with friend but don't want to get caught out again...!

Pretty blowy here in the SE. Was bright sunshine when I woke, and was inspired to open windows and door for a blow through (GF flat), but now seriously regretting that as it is greying over and bloomin' chilly. Going to strike that, and reverse it methinks!
Having a quiet one with the Grand Prix today, bacon joint in the oven to cook slowly, and firework party to go to later...perfick Sunday for me

Good morning from a very warm and sunny Malta.

Good morning, it is sunny but very windy. I am going to do the washing as I have no heart for anything else, will leave the computer on all day so I can pop back and forth.

Bright, sunny, windy and a little chilly but all good for a nice walk along the Thames this morning. I do like this weather, Autumn can be a lovely season. I hope PRINTMISS is OK she is a regular poster on this thread and I notice she hasn't been around for the last few days.

It is good to be back online. DD's internet access has been playing up and is only available intermittently. I got online yesterday only to find Gransnet was down and it's the only thing I want to check at the moment.
