After a grey and dripping start to the day, happily the sun is now out.

Lovely sunny morning in Central Scotland. Well it was, then we had a downpour for 5 mins. Now the sun is back.

Off for a day out with my cousin, we meet every week and call it our therapy Tuesday grin

Good morning from the Atlantic, windy here today but tomorrow we have a gale forecast, hope its not too bad

Good morning every one, lovely sunny day here in North Herts. Chilly but bright. Again not dressed yet. The computer called to me. Am still waiting for my inheritance to drop through the letter box. Anyone know of a reasonably priced cottage for 3 to rent for a weeks holiday in Dorset, I have promised to take my mother away for a week next spring. Anything will be considered.

Feeling better after a bout of tonsillitis and a heavy cold.

It's lovely here. Strange weather - one day great, one day dreadful. Never mind

We're going out to lunch today to celebrate the first anniversary of my OH being 'let go' by his old job. Best thing that ever happened! Freedom, the chance to reassess and he has picked up two fabulous part time opportunities, both of which he loves. Strange old thing, eh?

Good morning everyone, weather ditto as gillybob and Stansgran.
GD would like Cinderella dress and glass slippers for you know what so Disney shop for me today.

Cloudless blue sky and brilliant sunshine, but very cold. We have been very lucky so far here in the East of Scotland. How can I feel so good about the weather after seeing the appalling news pictures of the Philipines? We should be so grateful we don't suffer from such extremes in weather as they do in the Far East.
Off to Perthshire today with a friend for a look around an Antiques Centre and lunch (oh dear, just remembered it's my 5:2 day........)

Good morning from a very wet Malta. Have had to put proper shoes on ( ie. not flip-flops) for the first time since May, and my feet are complaining. Hope you all have a good day and, grannyactivist, I hope your grandson is doing better today.

High cloud, and quite bright here in NE Cheshire. The autumn colours are intensifying.

Dank, dank and more dank in East Sussex. It has been raining continuously now since Sunday evening. Neighbours gutter is overflowing and the noise is very irritating. Ironing needs doing but I would sooner stay in bed with my head under the covers. The weather men say brighter tomorrow.

Watched a beautiful sunrise this morning, courtesy of wakeful baby. Blue skies with fluffy white clouds here in Exeter.

gillybob Tue 12-Nov-13 08:47:03

Oh enjoy York Stansgran I am jealous. I spent quite a bit of time there when my daughter was at university and haven't been back since she left over 6 years ago. Have a lovely day. smile

It is grey and damp here in NW London at present, but hopefully the sunshine may appear later.

Not a lot to do today, food shopping I think.

Stansgran Tue 12-Nov-13 08:33:14

Started off grey in Durham but the sun from the coast has reached is now and I can see blue sky! Off to York where it will be freezing I'm sure.

gillybob Tue 12-Nov-13 08:30:22

Good morning from a beautiful, bright and sunny North East coast. Enjoy your trip to Oxford Mick. Off to work for me and then taking mum on yet another hospital appointment. Have a good day everyone. smile

Good morning Michael, are we early or is it that everyone else is late? Dull and dreary again this morning, but the forecast is for a brighter afternoon so I have the washing on ready to hang out after bowls. We have already lost our early start bus pass entitlemet (which I think is as it should be, as it is really for retired people I believe, so we do not need to go out at an early hour). Do hope we keep the free travelling, though, because it is a boon for visiting different places.

Good Morning Everyone,
Its looking dry but cold out here in brackley off to Oxford later it requires 1 bus change, in Bicester both ways.
Looks like Oxon Bus Pass holders may loose there perks as to a 0900 start and late at weekends in Oxford City.
