Still foot stomping and arm waving, really interact with the audience. They always say that the audience are part of the whole experience, a real party atmosphere.

Bruce Guthro, Canadian, joined them two years after Donnie left. He is absolutely lovely and really fits in with the other members. He is a singer/songwriter in his own right but they still do all the Macdonald brothers' songs, old and new. Bruce has his own recordings going on in Canada. Again look up on Youtube.

Siol ghoraidh and Hearthammer are two of my favourite songs. Trouble is, with such a huge back catalogue there's always a worry at concerts that they won't play your favourite songs .

Loved Runrig when Donny Munro fronted them. Is he back with them again, now, Flower? Saw them a couple of times, in Dundee and here in Fife, a good few years ago and Oooh!! They were GOOD! More than a Celtic music band - real inspiring foot-stamping, arm-waving sound! Wish I could see them again !

Flower - Ooo Birmingham. I will look them up. Sounds like the sort of stuff me and DH would enjoy. I am of Irish origin and years ago we used to go to see the Dublners, Woolftones,Chieftains, Fureys, maybe this group is similar, I will pursue this.

Nottingham? I haven't seen them for years, think it's time I saw them again.

Used to take the DD's to their concerts when they (Runrig) were young. FANTASTIC. All GN's should see them if they are in their area. I think we still have the T shirts
