Good morning Mick and everyone else. It's not light enough to tell what sort of a day it is yet.
We are going to London for a couple of nights [good old Premier Inns]. We are going to see Les Mis, a tour of the Houses of Parliament and then a concert at the Royal Festival Hall so I hope it stays dry.
Enjoy your days all
The moonlight showed a thick frost on the field this morning. No daylight to speak of yet.
Black clouds scudding over on a stiff northerly breeze. I think I'll clear out another kitchen cupboard!
Good morning all and I hope that today is good to you. Grey and dull here in East Sussex but no wind.
Saw eye specialist yesterday. Vitreous still detaching but retina not detached yet. Told at "high risk" of it detaching soon but they won't act until it does so the time bomb goes on.
Dentists today. Don't mind dentist but really dislike the hygienists who talks as though I am a thick child!
What to buy to eat for the weekend next problem without breaking the bank.

Good morning all. Sunshine today in Somerset although it is cold. You are in the same position as my OH was this time last year Brenda I am sorry to read this and hope all goes well for you
Good morning everyone. It's bright and quite sunny here on the North East coast after torrential rain last night.
I am off work today as DH is having tests in hospital [worried emoticon] and then it's the usual shopping for grandma.
Your trip sounds packed and exciting kittylester I hope you have a fantastic time.
I was at the dentist on Wednesday Brendawymms as I have been having this sort if dull throb in a crowned tooth. The dentist took and X-ray thinking there might have been some infection in it but it was clear. Still got the horrible ache that hurts when you bite on it and kind of pulsates. Any ideas anyone?
Hope you have a good day whatever you are doing.
Morning all, it's a beautiful sunny start here in Cheshire, the huge trees opposite are glowing gold, fabulous.
kitty enjoy your weekend, I love Les Mis and I bet the tour of H of P will be very interesting.
Brenda
Morning all, a little bit of blue sky here in Bradford, so could be a nice day. Off to N. Ireland at lunch time, to see my GS, who has been through major heart surgery. You wouldn't believe, looking at him, how a two and a half year old, can bounce back so quickly.
Hi all it's my childminding day today. Grey cold and miserable here today bit like me really. I didn't keep my mouth shut yesterday (when will I ever learn) so been up all night chewing it over in my head. Brenda it sounds as if your not havin the best of it and the only bargain i'v seen in the shops lately is Savoy cabbage not sure that'll cheer you up. You could be like mick and buy some eggs and have an omelette hubby still managing the M20 & M25 safely every morning but is frozen by the time he gets home. Only three more days then he should have his car. Have a good day all ps I'd like to tour the Houses of Parliament how do you get tickets and whats it cost. More that a Savoy cabbage I'd bet kitty. Nfk have a good cupboard day. That's a job I hate I'd probably find something from 1988 in the back of mine. Oops waffling on now best go bye
Good morning everyone, a little uncertain again weather-wise here on the south coast, but a fine day promised. Horrible night's sleep, so feeling a bit groggy this morning, but like the weather I will probably brighten up later. You all seem to be busy, so enjoy your days. berdie I think the reason young children bounce back as quickly as they do from these things is that they do not worry about what the results will be, and if something aches, they cry and don't try to move around too much. Anyway, that is what the surgeon told me after my sons various opertions.
Morning! Just testing the 'post' button...
Morning everyone. It's a gorgeous crisp, freezing -2 here just outside Glasgow. Not good for driving as the sun is very low in the sky.
My hubby has his appointment with the consultant today so we're full of anticipation. This has been a 14 month journey for us so we're hoping that the lovely day will bring good news.
Have a great day everyone.
Dull and grey but I'm off to do some Christmas shopping. Early for me this year, but I need to have my presents bought and wrapped before we go away, we are only coming back a couple of days before the day.
Good morning, dull and grey and wet here this morning. Not raining at the moment but it poured all night and all the grasses I should have cut back have their heads resting on the ground. The relations are deciding whether to drive to Cape St Vincent or not. Well the sea would look exciting even without blue sky.
Sun's come out - blow the kitchen cupboards, I'm going into town!
Did go out sunny now but its been a ground frost, and slippy pavements.
Mick
Good morning everyone. It is a glorious sunny morning in my corner of Cheshire. Really enjoyed my early morning walk and watching the sun rise.
We are decorating the hall, stairs and landing. DH is infuriatingly slooooow, I just have to grit my teeth and cross fingers that it will be finished for C*******s (2013).
Kitty you lucky duck, have a wonderful time.
Brenda how awful for you, what a worry. I have an appointment at the Eye Clinic next week, it is two months overdue and I had to pester them to death for it.
It is sunny here in London but cold.
Kittylester Les Mis is well worth it, I thought that it was superb.
Brenda do you not need a second opinion as that is horrid.
NfkDumpling if you ever run out of cupboards, feel free to come here.
