Good Morning Everyone,
Another cold night, but dry here in Brackley.

Good morning all. It's a hard cold start to the day, lessened by the delicacy of a pink dawn.

Good morning . I have not yet looked out of the window to see the weather but enjoy the day.

Good morning all. Overcast, but dry here. Mistakenly got up at 5.30 thinking it was 6.30! Didn't realise until my toast was done and the coffee made and I glanced at the clock - with my specs on!

Good morning everyone, a bit chilly here and overcast, not sure what the day will bring. I feel really lazy at the moment, can't get myself moving at all, so a second cup of tea and then I must do something. Enjoy your days everyone.

Morning all smile I'm sat in bed with lappy having brew until house warms up grin

Morning all. Feeling knackered this morning after going to the airport to pick up DS at some godforsaken hour last night and then of course having difficulty getting to sleep and no difficulty waking up. He has come on a brief visit to see his Gran as he hasn't seen her since her 99th birthday 18 months ago.

Good morning. Dull and overcast this morning but not as cold as yesterday. So many things to do but feeling a bit lazy.

Enjoy your day.

Good morning friends, it's dull, dull, dull here. I've only just dragged myself out of bed shock
Why is it that some days you can leap out of bed (sort of) and others, you could wallow there for hours?

Anyway, take it easy everyone and just enjoy Sunday sunshine

Charleygirl Sun 24-Nov-13 09:27:05

Dull here in London. My house is too hot so I must turn down the heating. No point wasting money. I must get my act together as I am going out for an early lunch and must put petrol in my car or I will be going nowhere.

Morning. Grey but dry and mild today in Kent. Up at around 4 back to bed at 6.30 made me feel sluggish. Bike in the garage, hubby's borrowed my car. One less worry this evening. The 'new' used car should be ready tomorrow. But they've left a message saying it may not be ready until evening, he had wanted it late morning. He put a deposit down 3 weeks ago Is this type of customer service normal. He's parting with 11 thousand £ up front. He's having second thoughts because of the wait should we ask for our deposit back and go elsewhere.?

A dull looking day here at the moment..will be brightened up by DGDs 5th birthday party later!

kiora is it a brand dealership or an independent car showroom? If it is a
brand dealership I would feel slightly more confident than an independent dealer that will not have the back up of the larger car make company.

Kiora Sun 24-Nov-13 10:49:34

It's a brand dealership, shouldn't 3 weeks be enough to have it ready or do you think he's expecting to much? He's always bought at an auction before and brought it up to standard and maintained it himself ( he's good at that sort of thing) but we both felt he was getting too old to spend underneath a car and he wanted a workhorse that would be good for 5-6 years before he retired. This is the most he's ever spent on anything cash.he thought it would be an enjoyable experience but instead he's found it stressful. If its not ready should we just ask for the deposit back what do you think any advice would be gratefully received. Oh dear didn't mean to interrupt the flow of this thread sorry

Good morning. It's a bright sunny day here, lovely after three days of rain but very chilly. It went down to 2.5C last night, our lowest so far.

I've just finished my homework ready for class tomorrow so I can enjoy the rest of the day. Have a good day everyone and I hope you get your car sorted soon Kiora

Dull and damp here, but the garden is suddenly full of long-tailed tits. It's difficult to say how many because they move so fast, but there are enough for me to call them a flock.
