Good morning, all. Moonshine woke me this morning . It shone straight through the roof window onto my bed. A lovely beginning to a day.

Morning from Kent. Grey damp but mild. I think it might brighten up. The bike is in the garage.... But will it be staying there until spring? Today's the day the car is to be picked up I shudder at the anticipation ))))))((((((((

Good morning from the south coast. Mild and bright here.....looking like a lovely day smile

Good morning, everyone. A lovely frosty morning here and the air feels so clean and fresh. After a few wobbles round the garden, though, it's back on to the sofa - got norovirus at the weekend and I'm spending today flat out with a jug of water and my puzzled dog for company. hmm

Good morning from East Sussex. Dry and bright with frost on the shed roof. Whenim64 so sorry to hear that you have had the dreaded no reovirus. Can someone get you some live yoghurt. You will be better soon but stay away from others for 48 hours.
Hope everyone is in the best of health. Have a good day smile

Good morning from a cold and frosty North East coast. Sorry to hear you are poorly when I do hope you are feeling better very soon.

Work again today. Have a good day everyone. smile

Cold here in London but the sun is peeping through. My cat likes to view from the window sill as it is too cold outside for her.

whenim64 Mon 25-Nov-13 08:24:55

Yes, got live yogurt, Brenda. It's so lively that it won't stay in my stomach! Just managing to keep sips of water down so far, and will try again later. All plans to see people dropped till later in the week. (My sofa beckons, though - I could sleep for England!)

Good morning all. Sorry you feel so poorly when hope you are soon on the mend.

NfkDumpling Mon 25-Nov-13 08:34:19

Grey and cold and miserable here today - and we're having replacement windows put in this week. They've just arrived!

PRINTMISS Mon 25-Nov-13 08:47:52

Good morning to you all, sorry you are poorly when, I find a teaspoon of cider vinegar in warm (or cold if you prefer) water works wonders for sickness, and certainly pure apples juice when you are on the mend. No guarantee of course, but wishes for you to feel better soon. We have a beautiful morning here, so much so that I am going to venture out to do some gardening later on. I have some daffodil bulbs which have been waiting to be planted for about a month now. Enjoy your days everyone.

when, sleep and hydration are the only way to get over noro virus. I've had it twice, so that's the voice of experience. Keep warm, keep still and sip water - you have the right idea. You'll be fine (if a little wobbly) later in the week.

Lona Mon 25-Nov-13 09:40:05

Morning! Nice and frosty with sunshine here.

I'm returning to normal life slowly this week, I feel great, just taking care not to lift anything too heavy.

when Sorry that you're suffering, if you need anything let me know, I'm sure I could find you! flowers

whenim64 Mon 25-Nov-13 09:46:40

Oh, you lovely people are kind. Yes, I've had it twice, anno and have been so careful about hand washing and taking precautions! but it got me again. I keep hydration sachets in, fortunately, so started on those even when they weren't staying down.

I was shocked to hear an acquaintance who has had norovirus at the same time as me commenting that she was going in work today, as they are short of staff - a school dinner lady! 'It's only a couple of hours' she said. As soon as she walks in the place she will be sent home (the manager has been tipped off). No wonder it spreads when people behave like that.

Take care of yourself when flowers

ffinnochio Mon 25-Nov-13 12:02:35

Get well soon, when. Warm a bit of brandy to sip, or just a little mouthful of real coke if you can face them. Maybe not yet, but both great tummy settlers.

hummingbird Mon 25-Nov-13 12:42:05

Hope you're feeling better soon, When. It's a horrible thing, so hunker down and take good care of yourself flowers [and hugs]
