Morning all, frosty and a little foggy round here.

Out to a volunteer meeting which promises to be 'interesting' and then for lunch to talk about it!!!

Hope you all have a lovely day sunshine

Good morning, folks. A cloudy, dry morning here and that nasty norovirus is starting to subside. Hope no-one else catches it. Take care of yourselves.

Good morning everyone, cold and looks like being another nice day - yesterday was lovely, and I managed to get lots done in the garden AND clear out the garage. What sor of volunteering are you doing Kitty, before we moved, we were both very much involved with volunteering in one way and another, but since our move we have not become involved in anything very much, and I sometimes feel very guilty about this, but old age takes its toll! I think too, health and safety would prevent me from taking on too much. Enjoy your days, I am off to play bowls, not sure if it will be indoors or out, depends on the other players.

Good morning!
Quite dull here and no sign of the sun at all.
when glad you are on the mend, here's some sunshine for you.
I'm off out for lunch later with my friend, who is now sporting a wacky wig in a gorgeous silver.
I told her that she looks like Phyllis Diller and she's delighted grin

Morning all. Dry and bright in East Sussex and the porridge, with golden syrup, has been eaten.
Hope to go to Crowborough today as they have three large supermarkets and I can get the last of the store cupboard Xmas food etc. it's not easy to get to from my home but worth it.
Need to tidy out a cupboard or to and take the resulting stuff to a charity shop, if it's sellable.
Finished big crochet project last night so it's back to crocheting snowflakes for the tree. I wish it was 2nd January. smile

Mornin all. Clear and frosty.
I am up and dressed and waiting for a) my gardener b) the men to fix my gutters, both due at 9. Gardener couldn't come yesterday so...
I have to work out what one can do so as not to be in the way of the others!

My sister went half an hour ago, in a Christmassy jumper that she wouldn't show me the back of.... there was a heart at the end of some writing...maybe Rob (boy friend)gave it her.....she is often grumpy in the morning though, so perhaps it was just that!

AlieOxon Tue 26-Nov-13 08:39:07

I wish it was Thursday.

NfkDumpling Tue 26-Nov-13 09:02:53

Bright, sunny and bloomin' cold here. The window chappies got both windows fitted in our bedroom yesterday and it was so much quieter last night we'd only just surfaced when they arrived at silly o'clock this morning. I keep being told how easy and quick it is to put in new windows. Not in our house. It has ancient pebble dash and has lots of smallish windows - there seems to be a lot of chiseling out involved - this is going to be a long job.

NfkDumpling Tue 26-Nov-13 09:04:22

Can I ask? Why do you wish it was Thursday Alie?

KatyK Tue 26-Nov-13 09:45:54

Bright but cold in Brum. Cold in here, heating packed up on Saturday. They have to 'order a part' apparently. They have now gone very quiet......confused

Good morning, a crisp bright morning today. When I hung the washing out it was a deep blue sky with a crescent moon high above.

The trouble with work men around the house is that however pleasant they are, they always seem to be either in, or just outside the window of,the room that you want to get changed in.

when sorry to hear that you have had the dreaded 'Noro' on a plus side it's great for losing weight grin.

Dull here hope the sun will come out later.

annodomini Tue 26-Nov-13 10:32:05

Overcast here. I woke up at 7-ish, read for a while then fell asleep again and woke up to find it was 9.40! Fortunately I haven't any plans for this morning, although I have a 25% off voucher for M&S clothing, so might go and have a look.

whenim64 Tue 26-Nov-13 10:42:38

You're right, sook. Half a stone lost since Friday evening, with another pound gone this morning, despite being rehydrated. I'll be living on soup for a day or so, as my insides are raw. Not my preferred way to lose weight. Still....every cloud grin

harrigran Tue 26-Nov-13 10:48:58

Good morning from a bright and sunny north east. It was frosty here at dusk last night and remained a very cold night.

AlieOxon Tue 26-Nov-13 11:27:57

NfkDumpling I am reckoning that this will be over by then and I get a bit of peace!

They've just told me they are not going away but will finish the back piece of gutter today. (That leaves two more sides.)
AND he took a pic of what next door's ivy has done to my roof and says he will email it to me.

when, glad you are recovering. It's nasty. I dread if I got it again, as I don't know what it would do to colitis! Carry on looking after yourself.
