Good Morning Thursday

Pouring down here in Malta - thunder and lightning too. Definitely a day for staying indoors. I would hide in Soop's kitchen, but have a massive boil on the end of my nose so am too embarrassed to show my face!

harrigran - such a dreadful tragedy at any time, but all the more heart-wrenching with his birthday and Christmas coming up. Every parents worst nightmare.

How sad harri,and Christmas will be even harder for them because of his birthday.

The promised rain hasn't arrived here it's still sunny and bright with a few high clouds. I'm trying to decide what to wear out to a lunch today. If I'm standing around chatting outside it will be hot in the sun but the restaurant will probably be cold. The restaurant has got heating but they are unlikely to put it on until evening. It will have to be layers as usual.
It's a large group so there will probably be plenty of hot air after a few drinks.

Morning all, Well it's a dull overcast typical November morning over here in Mayo. Still it's not raining.

Hope to get some more done to prepairing the junk room into something like a bedroom for when our son comes over to stay.

And really must sort out the chickens to really improve their lot. Going off lay at the moment but that will pass.

Good morning from an overcast north east, not cold and frosty which is a bonus.
This is a very sad street, the young neighbour, who died last Friday would have been 13 on Christmas Eve. His funeral is not taking place until at least the middle of next week.

Morning all. (Thinks - I should get mine cut soon too.)

Half of me is still asleep in soop's kitchen.....the other half is up and wondering if I will hear from my gutter man this morning. Very tired last night and slept from 10.30, not really surprising.

Yes it is amazingly warm. I wandered outside to see how much mess there is, quite a lot, looked at new gutters and took some useful bits to the back - I don't know if they want them but long white pieces I am sure have a use.....
Gutters still to be finished when scaffolding is up.

Dull but not cold here, and I can't get going at all!
Several will be needed I think. Still, I'm having my hair cut this afternoon, it's been 12 weeks!
My hairdresser is really nice so I'm looking forward to seeing her and getting this mop sorted!

Woke up to no heating. However discovered that it was so warm the thermostat had not kicked in. Blue skies and 10 degrees (outside) so far so looks a promising day.

Good morning, same weather here as every where, I think, although it promises to be a nice weekend. Off for the usual bowls this p.m. a match this time, a social event, as we do not belong to any leagues, and since I personally don't HAVE to win, suits me fine. Enjoy your days.

Grey and overcast here. And cold. I think I'm noticing more because the blokes are still working their way around the house replacing the windows. Thank goodness it's staying dry and still.
I hadn't really noticed how bad the old ones were - or how grubby behind the nets (you'd never have thought I'd cleaned them last spring!)

Foggy here in London but at least it is not cold.

Dull and dank in East Sussex. Must get to the Post Office early to post birthday parcel to DGS. Only two snowflakes left to crochet so another tick on Xmas perpetration list completed.
