I was recently asked by my youngest son for some pointers about a conundrum he had. So I banged on, wittering away - doing it on the fly really.
Today I received an email which simply said "GREAT MOTHERLY ADVICE!"

Big smile

You know you've made it as a good mum when your kids (however old) ask for your advice and then act on it. Woohoo!!

Well done, sherish! Perhaps you could tell us how you got to that triumph?

Sorry! ffinochio!

pfft! Love him to pieces but if my youngest ever asked for my advice I'd probably drop dead with shock. Then if he took it, I'd drop down again. And if he then went on to send me an actual 'thank you', well, all I can say is you've got a gem there Ffinnochio.

I think he's mellowing - fatherhood approaching in a couple of months. smile

I have reached the stage of asking their advice.

Those precious moments are often hard earned I've found, but quite lovely when they arrive ffinochio. smile
