Good Morning Everyone,
Its still dark but looks cloudy but less windy today, found travelling for me OK to Brum yesterday , but problems effecting all travel north was not good news for those going further North.

Glad you still managed to get out yesterday Mick. It's clear and cold here, and the wind has dropped considerably, let's hope there's no more flooding this high tide.

Good morning everyone, and all good wishes to those affected by the storm and tides.

Good morning all from a bright and calm East Sussex. I hope all of you are well and not affected by yesterday's weather and waves.

Good morning. A beautiful pink streaked sky again this morning, with a little rain.

Last bit of Christmas shopping this morning then I will do some wrapping up! grin

Enjoy your days, everyone, and best wishes to those who are enduring the 'weather' sunshine

Good Morning. I haven't been on this for months, life has been busy with ups and downs, but now I am determined to come out of hibernation and join in again if I may. I haven't been outside yet I am writing this in bed having just recovered from the dreaded sick bug. Hope all you battered by the weather are keeping warm and dry.

Good morning all, glorious sunny morning here, but cold again. My game of bowls cancelled yesterday, the carpet was icy and dangerous, enjoyed the short mat indoors though. Fridge man coming today, the fast freeze in the freezer part has not been working for a couple of weeks new compresor needed, so have to wait indoors for him to arrive. Not a very exciting day ahead then. Hope you feel better Grannyeggs and enjoy your days everyone.

It is clear and calm here in London with the sun peeping through. It was quite windy here yesterday, even my wheelie bins were rocking.

I have a policeman visiting later this am to discuss Smartwater and this afternoon I am going to a party at the TWG. I have written 2 cards, many more to go. Cannot be bothered.

Welcome back, Grannyeggs. In my corner of Cheshire, it's grey and cold. But the wind has calmed and the trees overshadowing my garden are still there.

Greetings, Grannyeggs.

One of my bins blew over yesterday.
Clear and cold here, my scaffolding was taken down while I
I was out yesterday. Odd, it just disappeared!
Now I have to tackle what to do with some peeling outside paint....have matching paint but if I paint over, it will show the edges of the patch. Um.

NO workmen and no gardener until Monday. Peaceful.

I have just had a moment of maternal sarcasm with my son.
I am desperately trying to get some response from him about a Christmas gift.

We are talking about an intelligent 36 yr old here! He posted links to an X Box controller within our agreed price range or a gadget for a musical instrument at more than twice that price.

I have no idea how he has any time to even look at an X box and to me he he really seems too old. .

"Dear DS I am just looking at the "present" on "I's" Amazon wish list. Shall I get her this? I need need to know soonish please.

Are you still after the Xbox controller thingy or would you like Father Christmas to bring you a new cap gun?

xxxx Mummy!"

I will buy it if he wishes, I am not that mean! wink
