Good Morning Everyone,
Its a dark start here in Brackley but cold , just going to prepare a scrambled egg breakfast, and a decaf coffee, trying decaf to lower blood pressure it is making me tired due to lack of caffeine.

Good morning everyone. Still dark in Somerset but due to be warmer I believe.

Good morning everyone. A beautifully crisp, frosty morning with sunshine highlighting winter tree branches and the yellow-green clumps of mistletoe. They look like decoration balls. smile

A wet start here near the airport, but it will dry up!
I had a reasonable sleep for the first time this week, so I'm ready to go to my exercise class and come home looking like Jane Fonda not a chance
May get a visit from dd and dgds, fingers crossed smile

Have a good weekend everyone sunshine

Good morning all from East Sussex. Dry calm and dull as ditchwater here. The Xmas stampede probably starts today in the shops so stay clear. Working in a charity retail shop (that's what the bosses insist we call it) this afternoon and hope its busy to bring the funds in for the hospice.

Yes, equally wet on this side of the airport, Lona. I have two rascals coming for the day shortly, my dear little grandsons. Keeping them occupied, so we're starting by making jellies (one cube in the bowl, one in their mouths!) Then, it's a walk in the woods with the dog, who will be delirious when they arrive, and they're making pizzas from scratch. An afternoon children's film whilst I slump on the sofa, and after answering a thousand questions, I'll deliver them back to their shattered mum, who is working all day. How come I could do that every day with four kids, but once every couple of weeks with these little balls of energy is so exhausting? Don't answer that! grin

Good morning all, We have the same weather as you Brendawymms, very still. Off to a little craft fair later with friends and lunch out. I am just going to go and tell the other half the latest cricket score, we are being annihalated, oh! well! Enjoy your days everyone.

Mid-Sussex is dry and frost-free, fairly mild too.
Off to help a local lad with his maths in a bit, then over to babysit two lads (one from school and his brother) while Mum and Dad go to a meeting at the bank. Probably have a nice walk with them and their dog through the local woods.
Then the rest of the weekend is all mine, which will include much moving around of furniture, due to the arrival of a piano tomorrow, that I need to find space for in my little flat. Been waiting 30 odd years to have a piano to play again, so it WILL fit smile.
Have a good weekend all!

It's grey as usual here but it doesn't feel too cold. I am feeling particularly fed up and grumpy and am going to lock myself away and paint.

Hope you enjoy your piano gratefulgran - I got one for my Christmas present at the end of November. It is wonderful to be back playing - albeit not very well. I bought some easy music on-line and have been bashing away at carols too. It's amazing how it comes back after all these years! smile

A lovely winter morning here on the North East coast. The sea is much calmer than it has been over the past couple of days and I can't wait to wrap up and go beach combing tomorrow. You always find some very interesting "bits" after a high tide or a storm. DH and I are off to build the third replacement set of wardrobes from bloody Ikea for my sister and then off to see to grandma. No rest for the wicked!

Have a lovely Saturday everyone. tchsmile

Now clearing, Lona and when. That's the advantage of having a lie-in! The sky is bright now although the flag stones outside show that it's been raining overnight.

Lona Sat 07-Dec-13 09:59:33

Hope so anno, I'm wearing my suede boots and I only wear them when it's dry grin

Kitty My DGD2 also has a one-liner in her Nursery Nativity Musical and I also said to her that she would be THE STAR. 'Oh No, Granny' said she shaking her head, 'I'm not THE STAR, I'm THE ANGEL'
