Good morning all! We had the most spectacular sunset last night and the sunrise this morning has been quite colourful too.

We are going to Birmingham, in desperation, to find a really good stocking filler for DS1. Any ideas welcome. tchgrin

Enjoy your days, everyone.

Good morning everyone. Light and frosty. Nothing does colour like nature. The sky earlier toned beautifully with the frosted terracotta tiles of the roofscape I can see hanging out of the bedroom window. Soft and calming.

Good morning everyone. Its very warm and a little breezy here in the North East, back to the normal school run I have not gone across the doors all weekend, think the work for the run up to the school fair on Friday took it out of me. But we managed to raise almost £1,000 so the hard work was worth it.

Oh glass, that's great! smile

Good morning all, a bit dark and uncertain here, but a warmish day promised - remember that it is December, (as if we needed to be reminded!) Well done glassortwo a great effort. We have friends visiting for coffee this a.m., always nice to have long distant friends for a few hours, after that a lazy day, feeling a bit drawn out recently, I am sure it is the weather. Enjoy your days everyone

It is -5 here in Normandy this morning. Bitterly cold and thick frost, but the wood-burner has been going since 6am.

Good morning from East Sussex. Dry bright and not too cold. Working in the Hospice retail shop (aka charity shop) this afternoon.
Tried to get at some Xmas decorations in the loft yesterday and knocked one of DH model aeroplanes and a wheel fell off and it's disappeared under the floor. HELP.

Good morning everyone. I would have said it was sunny but the sky is very dark. Rather than the onset of a storm do hope it is just the night sky floating off to bed tchsmile

It looks as though it may be a bright day today and warmer than normal. I even had to turn off the heating yesterday evening which is a first. Back to the dreaded Christmas cards.

Lona Mon 09-Dec-13 09:39:11

Morning everyone, at last I had a much needed good nights sleep.
I've been completely exhausted this weekend, and didn't even have the energy to write my few Christmas cards.
Hopefully, I'll get the dreaded job done today I HATE IT

glass I'm not surprised you were flagging after making all those cupcakes, well done. You are a smashing nana/gran flowers

Dull here so far, but at least it's dry sunshine

Bright and sunny in sheffield. As we left this a/m we missed an amazing red sunrise. Dd and dgs napping. We will mind Dgs later when mum sleeps off her night shift

It is a lovely day in the north east. I awoke feeling refreshed after not sleeping Saturday night, GC sleepover.
Well done glass flowers
Our two arrived , for sleepover, after school fair. They had been toasting marshmallows over a camp fire and I could smell the wood smoke. GDs brought me a beautiful stained glass angel from the fair, very high standard of items for sale tchsmile

Mornin' All. Late on today. I've just spent nearly three hours trying to fill in visa forms for a tiger watching holiday in India. This had bloomin' well be worth it!

(Got a set on my grapefruit marmalade yesterday - cheated and used Certo. I think it was because the recipe had said not to put the pips and pithy bits in)

Ariadne Mon 09-Dec-13 11:58:42

It is the most glorious day here in Noth Devon, and quite warm too! It does lift your spirits. And show up all the dust...

dustyangel Mon 09-Dec-13 12:06:24

Good morning everyone, another one been under the weather here. At least I've made some phonecalls this morning. It's delaying tactics really, the Christmas cards are still hanging over me. I like receiving them so I've GOT to send them. It's only fair isn't it?

A bit of hazy cloud earlier but gone now and another bright sunny day, it is up to 14C already.
