It has been another beautiful day here - for which I have learned to be grateful.

Having experienced rain in South Africa, I have to say that it rains more heavily then I have seen in Devon, and that is saying something! Enjoyed the memorial, but I do feel the people would rather have sung and danced than listen to speeches.

I hope you are OK harrigranLast year I accidently took an extra dose of my BP medication and ended up overnight in A&E for borderline poisoning tchblush

Grannylin Tue 10-Dec-13 11:00:48

Good Morning!hope everyone feels better soon. I'm on my third cup of coffee and have got so much to do but I'm drawn to watching the Mandela Memorial...could it have rained more?!

Good morning, weather pleasant enough.
I am glad just to be here this morning. I had to go to BP clinic last night and then went shopping, I took my tablet in the car on the way home. Unpacked shopping, started on dinner and thought " take tablet". After a while I started to feel light headed and realised I had taken the same tablet twice. I was very cross as my BP is stable and I had caused it to plummet. Last night was wasted as I was good for nothing and still feel wobbly this morning.

Fresh crisp morning here in the wilds of the Welsh borders. Just been to collect DGD (10 months) as today is our babysitting day. She fell asleep in the car, and we are taking it in turns to go out to then garage to check her every 5 minutes. Love Tuesdays when we devote out day to keeping her happy and enjoying her company.

Lovely and bright in North Leicestershire and I'm stuck in bed with a poorly tummy. I've been up most of the night. tchsad

The worst part is that we were going to see DD2 and her two adorable little girls (I'm not biased at all tchgrin) and delivering bread sauce! DH is going on his own tchsad

I've just had a phone call from mum's gp and I was worried that it was an emergency call but it just an update - I'm impressed by that.

Snow on Kinder Scout? Brrrr! Very foggy in N Norfolk this morning - perhaps it's a sea mist and it'll roll away soon as the sun burns through!!!
Off into Norwich later to M&S to change a couple of tops I bought on line. With all the Christmas shoppers it could take some time.
There seems to be an extra lot of DGC contact today. Enjoy!

Have a lovely day sewsilver sunshine

Sewsilver Tue 10-Dec-13 08:28:12

Good morning, beautiful morning here in the Peak District. Amazing pink sky. I had hoped for snow on the hills again ( not on roads or footpaths) . Kinder Scout was thickly covered with sparkly white snow one day last week. Hope dgd cheers you Lona and that school concert is wonderful sook. Meeting one of my wonderful sisters for the day today.

Aka Tue 10-Dec-13 08:26:14

Woken up this morning at a very reasonable 7.30 by the strains of 'Ballamory' coming through the monitor. The 2-year old DGD was awake so her sister could not be far behind.

Lona Tue 10-Dec-13 08:14:43

Good morning, there is the slightest tinge of pink in the sky here and it's a bit chillier than yesterday.

Still tired and a bit low so I really need to get a grip today. Babysitting dgd for a couple of hours tonight which will put a smile on my face smile

sunshine to all.

Brendawymms Tue 10-Dec-13 08:13:55

Good morning to everyone hope you are all well. Cold, damp and very misty in East Sussex. The mist does look lovely however as it flows through the valley opposite with the bare trees black against it.
Doing very little today, probably some more crocheting. Have five complete bands to go and each band is 34 colours and it's 5ft wide so you see its a real labour. Wish I never started it but it keeps me quiet!

Sook Tue 10-Dec-13 07:59:19

Good morning all. A nip in the air this morning brr. DGDs first school concert this afternoon so I'm really looking forward to it. Have lied to DH about the time as he is late for everything and I want seats as near to the front as possible grin

Good morning all. Very impressed with everyone's energy: bouncing grandchildren, eucalyptus . . . Wow!

Charleygirl Tue 10-Dec-13 07:53:09

Very foggy here in London but also quite mild. Long may that last.

gillybob Tue 10-Dec-13 07:51:23

Good morning from the North East coast. Had a very strange mixed up night . My grandchildren always stay with us in Mondays and Tuesdays but we are doing a swap around this week and next to take into account their parents rearranged shift patterns. I didn't know what to do with myself last night and really missed being jumped on by my 3 yr old GS at 6.30 this morning.
Have a good day everyone. smile

thatbags Tue 10-Dec-13 07:34:57

Morning all! I'm very stiff this morning. Better hack up and shred some fallen eucalyptus later to loosen up.

Gally Tue 10-Dec-13 07:20:04

Would possibly work for the first few day G23 grin

Granny23 Tue 10-Dec-13 06:45:27

Hope all goes well at the Doctor's Michael

Gally Just wondering if folk like me who are up all night but can sleep in the daytime would be 'sorted' if we moved to Australia?

12Michael Tue 10-Dec-13 06:21:33

Good Morning Everyone,
Its still dark here in Brackley, up early doctors later.

Just thought I would get in first as it's already afternoon here. It is blisteringly hot and humid and almost, although not quite, enough to make me a little homesick for a touch of frost wink. Just off to collect the gc's from nursery and school having spent most of the afternoon wrestling with Christmas wrapping paper. Have a good Tuesday everyone.
