Wet and windy here going to get worse.

Got a rare red weather warning for this afternoon. Think I'll stay in and if the chicken have any sense (which they don't) they will snuggle into the warm coop that I made for them.(they won't)

Good morning from a grey and damp north east. This is the lull before the storm, later today we should get gales and heavy rain. After lunch I am off to look after GC for the rest of the day, it is 45 minute drive so hope weather holds off for a while.
My youngest child is 42 today, phew those years flew over.

Oh boy the sky looks menacing over Derby. And, oh my giddy aunt, this shows what a strange nocturnal creature I've become since I retired casue I've just looked out of the window to check the weather and, blow me, there's a wind farm a few fields away [when did that spring up??]. I had to get my racing binoculars out to double check [I've got lacri lube in my eyes and it makes everything blurry].

Good morning everyone. Dull and raining here.

I'm getting ready to go into hospital at lunchtime for a Hysteroscopy. I'll be anaesthetised and it's only a 10 minute procedure. The rest of the day will be for coming round. I think I'd rather be ironing!!

It seems to be the same everywhere. My aches are telling me that the pressure is dropping. Much to do before I go south on Saturday.

Cool here and we started with blue skies which seem to be disappearing rather quickly.

Good morning it is cool and a bit blustery here and it is easy to see that we are close to the shortest day. Hard to tell morning from night - late to bed ladt night watching final Tinker, Tailor. DH turned over in bed and said Good morning (!) I was so tempted to get him a cup of tea and see how long it took for him to realise

Dry, calm and wind free at the moment but showers very so often in East Sussex. Off for treatment on my back today. It seems to have stuck. Probably due to too much crocheting whilst I sorted out where I had gone wrong.
Gutters bit blocked with moss so had to try and clear them yesterday. Need to get gutter cleaning company in. More expense.

nellie That would be a good idea but I don't think it would help my 'little problem'

Good morning from a bright and cool Dordogne - we are still(!) having beautiful sunny days - OH has a cold now due to sitting outside doing things - a bit worried as if it really develops due to his asthma he will be ill for a month - I am still(!) getting sorted from all the unpacking after our trip. We also need to sort out a lot more storage - OH on the case there and measured up for shelving the other day.

Damp but warm here. So much to do today as I have the day 'off' until the end of school run. I'm hosting Christmas Dinner for 8 adults and 4 children. Need to get my head round that today.

Good morning, sorry you are still having problems Lona (oh dear! another STILL!). I think it is going to bucket down any minute now, bound to, just put the washing on. Feeling a bit better today, not sure what was wrong yesterday, but still (!) here. Hope you all enjoy your days, I should be going to knit and natter, but no appetite for that, so will plod on at home with the Christmas decorations, which I enjoy.
