Good morning! Countdown to the shortest day: one! Still dark here. I could see a white hill across the loch during the night.

Moon still up and looking wonderful. Owls hooted and crows cawed good morning!

Goodmorning.

Still very dark here this morning, not a break in the darkness.
Well last day at school (2 weeks ago it seems such a long way away with all the activities at school, but I have made it) and a lovely start to Christmas with the Christingle service with the children, then just the tree and decorations to take down at school for another year, then I can relax.

Cold and frosty in Brum but the sky looks promising.

We've got a lovely turquoise sky here in South Manchester, with bright streaks of pink. Looks like clouds are coming to hide it, though. A crisp morning - lovely!

Calm and bright if chilly in East Sussex. Nearly ready for DD and 2DGS to come on Sunday. Two more shifts in the Hospice Retail shop (Charity shop to you and me) before Christmas. I have volunteered to do Xmas eve but we close at 14.00 so then home to very excited young people.
If I don't make it onto Gransnet before Christmas may I wish everyone a Merry Christmas. tchgrin

Cold and bright here on the coast, and I seem to be in the habit of getting up later and later. Enjoying the run-up to Christmas, although I wish my daughter and her family would decide if they are coming a.m. or p.m. on Boxing Day. The story of our lives I am afraid. No more bowls for about 10 days now, so I shall just get stiff over the next few days unless I get myself up and running shock. Anyway, enjoy your days everyone.

I appear to have a day off today. I am not long out of bed, why do I feel guilty?

It is cold and bright here in NW London.

Good morning, a little weak sunshine here but I know it isn't going to last.
DH's birthday, he is just one year off being swapped for two 35 year olds. I am off to hairdressers and then out to dinner tonight, no not with DH but with my friend who just happens to be married to his cousin tchgrin

Good morning! It was very frosty earlier but the sun is out now and it looks like a lovely, crisp start to the day.

Going to make a corned beef hash in my new slow cooker, just to break it in gently, and my dd may arrive after work, to stay over smile

My ds and dil have invited me for Boxing day, so I'm a happy bunny today

Bright and cold. I stood on the doorstep last night and admired the moon and the starlit sky. There has been frost overnight. I am making excuses for not getting down to some ironing. Last evening I was welded to the laptop, writing e-cards/notecards to the various friends I've chosen not to send cards to. £1 just to send two cards is more than I can stomach.

Last day in South America, so am going to make the most of the sun, flying back to London tonight hope it's not too windy when we arrive tomorrow afternoon.

Good morning, a lovely bright day after a very windy night. I thought the roof would come off at one stage. All settled down now and a deep blue sky but much, much colder.
I need to get on with some ironing too, I need to get on with a lot of things......but I might just have another cup of coffee first. tchsmile
