Children's imagination

Went to see the granddaughter yesterday (almost 3) and gave her her Christmas present. She loved the gift but much preferred the wrapping paper that she decided was a treasure map! For two hours we searched for her treasure (a stash of coins) using that bit of paper - of course we added a hastily drawn map for her - and it got rolled up and unrolled and all sorts. Kid's have such wonderful imaginations don't they!

My five year old DGD and I write to each other every week. Last week I told her grandad was painting the house. She phoned me to ask what colour he was painting the roof!grin
