Happy Christmas everyone. Very strange yesterday with no preparation at all to do - unnatural. No stocking again this year as DH was the one who did that for me. Looking forward to 1 pm when DD and family will pick me up to go to DS for the rest of the day. Meanwhile it is business s usual.

The sun is shining and there is only a little wind. Looks like being a good day.

Last year we had a very quiet, slightly sad Christmas dinner, which DH and I had taken over to my mum's. Her last Christmas. This year we're off to DD2's house. Our DS and his family are coming and all her in laws. Should be chaotic and wonderful! It seems only the Queen has a guaranteed Chrismas routine.

Hope you enjoy your stay at the Inn Marelli. I've heard they can be pretty full at this time of year.

Have a lovely day all. I am waiting for my Christmas celebrations to begin on Friday when my family come. I might as well be on my own today for all the use DH is.
Yes I think I am miffed it's not going to be a proper celebration today! I thought I had managed that Christmas hurdle.

Merry Christmas to everyone! We're spending Christmas in Ballater where the gales are blowing and whistling round the wee inn where we're staying. DH has just announced that he (we) had better go for an early breakfast so that we can manage to eat our lunch....(greedy emoticon). Suppose I better get up then....!

Merry Christmas. It's quiet and dark here with no sign that Father Christmas has been yet. Perhaps he's put my presents in DH's wardrobe. I've been trying not to peek for several weeks now, so he's had to put his own ironing away!
