River think it was £25 got it half price, but have had to pay £20 for this reduced green dinasaur so the first wasnt the bargain I thought it was that will teach me not to ask.

I lugged a luxury duvet home for Dd 2 only to be gently reminded that I did in fact help her to choose a nice one a couple of years ago. So that has got to be lugged back.

Forgot the Xmas emoticon there. Does that mean I will be glad to see the back of it all?

At least daughter is doing the cooking today. So that will only leave the washing up and the floor cleaning for me.

I bought my GD a set of books about tractors and machines because I wanted to counter act all the girlie nonsense only to be told that I had bought the same set for her brother a few years ago.

I ordered a few things for hubby from the Manchester United site, a new leather wallet which won`t hold all his bits and pieces, some pens, they`re OK, and a set of a plate, cereal bowl and a mug, which turned out to be quite small, and obviously meant for a child! Oh well, never mind.

Bought Alice in Wonderland dressing up for GD1, supposedly to fit 9 year old and she is 8. The elastic in the sleeves was so tight it would have cut off her circulation

DBH's family have the custom of buying really daft presents that don't cost much money, to put under the tree to have late in the afternoon with a piece of cake. His brother is a real dandy and loves the latest mens designer clothes, and his gift from me was a book, an Elvis Presley cut out doll book to be precise, complete with about 20 outfits.

Well, I thought he would laugh. I was wrong. Am slightly squirming now just remembering the look on his face!

When my two youngest Gds were little, I bought a princess dress for the older one, and DS said the younger one (about2) would prefer something else. So I bought her a reindeer costume. Mistake! When she saw her sister's beautiful dress, she sobbed, because she wanted it so much. We had to drag out one from the dressing up box.
