Good Morning Boxing Day

Goodmorning everyone - bright sunny day here and the rain has stopped. Quiet day for us I think.

A bit dull here in NW London but cold. At least at present it is dry. I am trying to stay away from the shops as I do not need anything and therefore do not want to spend money.

Good morning from Malta. After a lovely sunny day yesterday, it is the complete opposite today - very windy, grey and looks like it is going to rain.

Beautiful sunny day here and I can't believe it's not blowing a gale! A huge change compared to what we have had recently, but a very welcome change.

Good morning from East Sussex. Bright, calm and at the moment no clouds in the sky. One of the GC were told not to take an item out with them yesterday but of course they did and seemed to have left it behind. Much stress and distress today. My DD may have to drive nearly forty miles to recover it if it's found where we were for the day. Is it me or a children these days not expected to be responsible for things. They are nine and seven.

A sunny good morning from me, it was quite frosty earlier but clear now.
Still in my dressing gown but who cares? [thcsmile]

Off to my ds this afternoon, it will no doubt be very noisy as my dgs got a new guitar and dgd got a not so tiny electric grand piano!!!! Not from her parents though. She's just 2 and a bit!

Still snowing heavily here- but wet and very heavy snow. Tried to clear the patio but it weighs an absolute ton! Justfinished clearing Ye Olde Parish room and kitchen at the back, where we had 30 for lunch yesterday- lots of helpers so was done fairly quickly. Peace and quiet now by the wood burner pelting heat.

A very quiet day for us yesterday. DH and I have just returned from a stroll along the sunny prom which is a mile and half and takes us to Tesco where I hoped to buy the sale bargain slow cooker I saw on line. S*d's law they didn't send any to our branch

Oh shit! Intending to clear the house before guests I have just dropped and broken a bag with the remaining matching tiles for our kitchen which have come loose off the walls months ago, I hasten to add. That means replacing the whole bloody lot. I wanted a kitchen makeover but hadn't meant to do that.

As if things weren't bad enough right now! That will upset Mr Grumpy even further. I have just dumped the bag of broken bits into the bin inside the kitchen rubbish bag! Damn and blast. I cannot face more of his bloody whinging right now.

Afternoon, didn't quite make the thread this morning. Beautiful crisp day in the north east with frost still on the pavement.
Drove home at midnight and saw the most wonderful night sky, it was quite breath taking, in fact the most magical part of the day.

It's Boxmas!

Just hoovered my self in an effort to get white cat hair off black trousers & top

Thank goodness, my internet is working again, I have had no internet since the 21st because of atrocious weather. I have missed GN
