My DD went to a careers advisor who did lots of personality tests etc and said she should be...........a careers advisor!!

I did the opposite. Signed on at a job centre, got a job there and was then made redundant so had to sign on again .

Don't want to derail a light hearted thread, but I have to add, I hope I don't see in 2014 several case reviews, all saying exactly the same thing that 'went wrong' and a child was killed by his/her parents.

Iam64 totally with you there, but also to put things back to a light hearted thingy, stripping wallpaper is v. satisfying, a bit like peeling sunburn?

I'm with you on the Kardashians and the child abuse cases...I'm haunted by one particular case that was in the media recently. I'm seriously considering giving up newspapers and news bulletins to save my blood pressure - don't suppose I'd miss anything but can I do it?
