Anyone making any? I have come to the conclusion that after 63 years of resolutions I am now perfect and don't need to make any tchhmm

I am in the same camp as you sunseeker. We cannot help being perfect.

Oh, I do wish I was perfect, just the odd flaw here - but no resolutions. I will though be a bit relieved not to be eating quite as much, but don't intend to stop doing so until the decorations come down and the festive season is truly over.

I'm still thinking about mine. here will be just one. I did manage to keep last years, which was only to buy craft 'stuff' that I was going to use straight away and to use up things I already had.

I have decided on a few for DH though. tchgrin

To try to look on the bright side instead of my usual trick of concentrating on the woes..

Apparently, the top resolution for 2013 was to read more books! That surprised me, I imagined it would be dieting or exercise or spending/saving! That's a resolution I would happily try to keep!

I don't make resolutions but I adopt a word for the year and in 2014 it'll be PLEASURE! I'm fed up with being good and saintly so next year I'm going to kick up my heels and have fun!

Change my name - the real one. I said I would do this last year and I haven't, so I must DO it. Back to my 'maiden name'.

Try some craftwork
Write some more articles - and even start my autobiography [how pretentious is that tchgrin but if I don't noone else will and I always wish my grandmother and mother wrote theirs]
Take more exercise!!!
Read more books
Set to and learn Welsh properly
Take more interest in home cooking
Spend even more time with the GC - willingly
Do some housework........er, no. Forget that one!
Have a wine

My older friend (she is 4 months older than me and therefore much wiser!) said she had thought about resolutions and had come to the conclusion that she doesn't want people to look at her and think "what a sweet little old lady" she wants them to say "crap - what is she up to now" tchgrin Sounds like a plan
