What a lovely description by ffinnochio. That described East Sussex also. It has been very windy but getting better. Not raining but still very wet outside.
Finished husbands jumper last night thankfully. Always have to knit largest size for him so they get very heavy whilst knitting. Starting on some sewing today.

A pale violet dawn this morning. Very still.

Forecast for us is colder weather today and for a while. Time will tell. Don't worry about the plants, mick, they're used to our changeable weather.

it wil be nteresting to see if we get any reall Winter weather like blankets of snow as its to mild , the plants etc must be confused.
Hope non of the Oxford based members are not trapped by floods or those in the West Country, and Dorset areas.

Wet and windy and horrible here. But at least nothing too extreme. No snow drops yet, but the aconites are coming into flower under the hedge. Have a lovely day everyone and I hope your computer transfer goes well Mick.

It's still dark here in N. Leicestershire but the rain we had overnight appears to have stopped.

I'm off to stock up before DD2 and her two arrive for the week. They are having a new kitchen floor fitted so she has opted out. It will be lovely but I will be very tired when they leave!

Can't tell what the morning is doing yet. At least the wind has dropped. I am remembering some lovely colourful primulas (not wild primroses!) that I saw yesterday on my way to the pharmacy, and smiling at their cheerfulness.
