Thank you everyone for your birthday wishes, no plans for this evening just a quiet one. Glass of wine definitely. Still blurrey from drops have to return tomorrow to see consultant. Pressures a bit high so different drops or something. Choir practice went well, lots of new music, totally confused. So nice to meet up with old friends.

Afternoon, didn't make it on here this morning. Pleasant enough, dry and bright. Woken at 6am by cold caller and again a couple of hours later, computer, Windows scammer. When phone rang 30 minutes later I was ready to pull their head off but it was my sister.

Did anyone else get woken up in the night by a clap of thunder followed by a hailstorm of epic proportions? I thought the world was coming to an end .

I am near Oxford, but we don't have floods in my village thank goodness, but lots of water all around, so you have to be careful where you drive.When will all the rain end? Saying that, there is blue sky just now and white fluffy clouds, so ok for now.Drove over to Wantage the other day and it's like driving through the Lake District!

DH has physio this morning, his legs are very wasted due to Myopathy so I am hoping he will benefit from this. Then oh joy of joys we have a trip to Waitrose with mil lined up afterwards. Still the freezers are rather deep in there (scratches chin thoughtfully) I for one wouldn't report her missing (evil grin). Only half joking before anyone reports me

Good morning everyone. Dull this morning, looks like rain.
Its my 68th birthday today, nice pair of earrings from Mr T. Off to eye clinic this morning for the full works, drops, pressures, vision test. Fingers crossed pressure will be ok.
Going to choir practice this afternoon, but wont be able to read the music because the drops make everything blurry. But nevertheless I will enjoy meeting up with friends after the Christmas break.
