Good morning Mick and everyone else. We have dreadful weather forecast for today and better tomorrow, so something to which we can look forward.

Good morning everyone. Dry but overcast in North Norfolk. Had hoped to prune the wisteria but it may turn out too soggy.

Morning Mick & all lookin damp in kent this morning. I'v only been back at work just over a week and this is the second cold I'v had. The 6 weeks at home. Nothing, not a tickle or a sneeze. Now that I'm back at work Id hoped I could go gadding about again on the weekend but no. Here I sit red nosed, sniffy, coughing like a smoker feeling a bit sorry for myself. I'm fed up. Oops sorry. Have a good Saturday. Hope the weather improves soon I want to do the clothes washing.

Good morning everyone. In East Sussex it's currently calm and dry but it won't last. I am so fed up with the rain. If I stomp on my grass you can hear the water rippling away!

Good Morning from Cheshire. It's windy, damp and grey. A stay indoors day.

Morning all, cold, misty and yuk weather this morning, however its Saturday and that means I get to see my children and grandchildren, who I don't see all week, as I'm at work. Roll on September and retirement.smile

Good morning everyone. Sun is out here this morning and no mist today. Sorry to. Hear about your colds Kiora have you tried taking echinacea drops? We take them as a preventative each morning for about two months in the autumn and then maybe a boost for a couple of weeks after Christmas. Seems to work and we have been doing it for years. Hope you feel better soon - hot honey and lemon drink maybe. X x

Good morning all smile same here Nellie. I have just returned from a muddy squelchy walk with the hounds. Later on I'm off to the Scientrific Museum in Widnes with son, granddaughter and grandson. I'm really looking forward to it.

Morning all, dank here and due to get worse.

DD2 and the two little ones are going to stay with DD1 tonight and may go home from there, if their kitchen floor is finished, if not they will be back! DH and DS1 are going to the football so I will have the house to myself! Dilemma, do I clear up or sit down with a cup of tea and a film? confused

Good morning. A bit grey and dull here in South Manchester but lots of entertainment in the back garden, where two magpies have been flying in and out to the birdbath, leaving assorted pieces of bread then returning for them. I hope one of them is going to collect the half naan bread they've deposited in my window box! grin

Good morning, wet here in the High Peak. I have been ironing duvet covers this morning, a highly unusual activity for me.I think it may be the first and last time. It is because people are coming to view the house today so fingers crossed for me please. After a lot of effort the house is looking good, if I could shrink it to a third of its size I would happily stay.

Good morning All. really dark and dismal here but with patches of blue sky maybe it will clear up later.
Just finished icing DGD chocolate cake, it doesn't look too bad, but I pity the person cutting it as the bottom layer was overcooked and turned out like a lump of rock. Party this afternoon at local hotel, I will blend into the backround when the cake is cut!!! blush
Doctor gave me strong painkillers for cracked ribs yesterday, they made me feel stupid, so perhaps wont be taking anymore.

Morning. sadly they have apparently found that little boy's body....

Elegran Sat 18-Jan-14 10:43:30

They have detained someone in connection with his death - the Daily Mail says it is his mother who is detained. He was at or near a house in Kirkcaldy where his mother stayed with an aunt when she had her twins.

There is no way he went on his own from Edinburgh to Kirkcaldy, and he has not been to nursery school for about a month with a chest infection.

I fear there is more to be told.
