Lots of thanks - I am looking these up. Couldn't find Mr Phillips, but will keep searching.

The Leith one looks good but is too new to be available for rental.

The home cinema was a treat to himself by my OH when his Dad died and some money came our way. We live in a home that was once two cottages and we live in one side and the other is just one room in which there is home cinema equipment. It gives a lot of pleasure, and as he is not fit enough for wild hobbies and holidays it has been a real blessing.

I'm still processing that Mishap has a home cinema ...

What about the new one with Emma Thompson Saving Mr Phillips (I think). Or is that too new? I believe it's smashing.

Ooh I know! Sunshine on Leith.

My first thought was Mama Mia.

But how about Les Miserables?

We have a home cinema and have been invited to ask the members of the WI to join us to watch a film. We can get a film from Love Film, but what I need are suggestions.......not too much sex or violence I would guess, and maybe maybe light-hearted (they are here for a good evening out).
