Cheers, gknot! Like soop's abode in bonny Kintyre, where I live is quite isolated. Gransnet is a lifeline of company when I want it. smile

My other half, is always saying, "is that you on that flipping GN again, whatever do you find to talk about" Next breath, "anyway whats going on , anything new" grin

Yes - same here

Ditto for every time I've said 'it's a GN recipe' eg chocolate vodka, raspberry gin, creme de cassis, etc..

If I had £1 for every time I've said 'according to gransnet' over the past couple of years I'd be rich now! Has even overtaken the gospel that is wikipedia.

DH is always asking me what's occurring on Gransnet. He doesn't like to miss the gossip grin

You're welcome Grannyknot, I enjoy your company too smile
MrA does moan sometimes if he thinks I'm on GN too much, but I think he also has a sneaking admiration for the variety of topics that get discussed, and some of the contributions too.

Oh bless him and you. Mind you we can be party animals too as evidenced on New Year's grin

Husband today was muttering about a woman we know who is in her mid-fifties, but is still very much a 'party animal' and generally behaves like a teenager. He said "She has three lovely daughters, she should be glad enough to find contentment in looking after her family, and if she wants excitement she can, you know, go on Gransnet like you!" grin

Jokes aside, I suspect he is very pleased of the times I happily browse the forums and leave him in peace to watch the footie (and updating him with edited versions from time to time!)

Thank you GN forum friends for the company.
