I think all the different arms of Age UK are well worth looking at Mick they really go that extra mile don't they,it sounds like a good group and I do hope you enjoy meeting new people.

I was a member of ARP50 inthe 1990s.In Bristol we had a Companions gp for ARP50 members who lived alone.I went on a very enjoyable canal boat holiday with 5 other members at that time.

I have re-joined a centre formerly known as ARP50 , gather this is also known as part of Age UK.
The Banbury one is self sufficient ,doing coffee mornings , talks and trips also self funded.
Was anyone else on here familiar with the former ARP50 group?
