We've had a couple of burst of hailstones here and it feels quite wintry now.

It's brightened up here, but chilly.
Still haven't done the mending OR remembered what else I had to do!

Very dark here, trees are tossing and could that be sleet that I see falling? Not a day for venturing far!

Dull and overcast but dry here in South Wales, so I'm not complaining. Quiet day for us UNTIL 3:30 when I have to fetch our grandson from school, give him some tea and generally keep him entertained until DIL finishes work around 7:30. Both our son and DIL work odd hours, and once every two weeks we have this "overlap" when they are both working in the afternoon.

Good morning everyone, The sun has come out and it's lovely bright day. Doesn't it make a difference?
It was a pleasure hanging the washing out albeit a slightly chilly one. I discovered things coming up in the garden that I hadn't noticed before. There is an Asphodel about 7 inches high coming up under a bush. Which now has an asphodel shaped hole chopped in it.

Nellie, I hope your back carries on improving.

Heavy, heavy rain here now with no wind to move it along. Just wonderful.

It's raining here too but I'm off to Manchester this afternoon to see all my gorgeous girls and attend 2nd Dgds' 5th birthday! I'm so excited. DH is "animal sitting" so I'm travelling alone!

Happy Birthday Aka. Dull,rainy and generally 'orrrible here in rural France. Exciting day as the OH rings the tax people in the UK, for the billionth time,as he has received yet another tax code!! Despite being retired he gets them at regular intervals, each different, each incorrect and each needing another phone call.

As I set foot outside my front door it rained. Plodding painfully around the block in the rain has a certain feel good factor. It's the feeling of self righteousness about taking exercise even though its wet. The back is a bit more mobile as well. Or the co-codamol has started to work.

Today i am mending my grandson's jeans...why I don't know. I only ever get a second-hand 'thank you' from this one. Why don't they think it's important? ....However it isn't much, a ten minute job.

And I know there was something I remembered last night - what was it I had to do?????

Wet and it seems to be getting darker rather than lighter here.

Good morning from Cheshire. Its about to rain but I need really do need to walk round the block to get my back working. Don't know what I have done but it hasn't been like this for some time.

aka Happy birthday what a lovely greeting. I still have last years birthday card from my then 5mnth old DGS with his hand and foot prints on it. Its totally daft I know but so nice that DD bothered.

Just coming onto rain here in Brackley.
