Isn't matalan a shop where they've found a high toxic content in their clothes?

It sounds like American influence at work, reminiscent of those dreadful 'beauty pageants' they hold for little girls dressed up (or down) as adults.

And the name of the miscreant retailers absent ?

It's good to know even if it's a NZ company!

There was a public outcry a few years ago when some supermarkets and chain stores started selling padded bras for childen as young as 5 and 6. They were forced to withdraw them and apologise.

I'm glad to hear that common sense prevailed! I agree, what were these people thinking about? Padded bikini bras for six year olds? Incredible!

designed, not desinged. But maybe bra burning is what should have happened.

I don't know if this product is available in the UK – it wouldn't surprise me if it is or soon will be. One of the most popular retailers in New Zealand has been selling children's bikinis – some intended for girls as young as six – with padded bra tops. There has been an outcry by the general public and they have now been withdrawn from sale. All credit to the protesters but one wonders about the mentality of the people who desinged and marketed these egregious garments in the first place.
