Taking my son to hospital after I've been to exercise class. He's having a lump removed from his neck. (No! It's not his head!)

Cold and wet here in South Wales - so no surprises there! I have "taking the grandson to school" duty this morning as our son is on a breakfast shift.

I'm going there in half an hour. I'm working in Cardiff today.

Grey and miserable in North Leicestershire but I don't think it's raining - yet! The forecast is bad!

I spent three hours yesterday in the Opthalmic dept of our local university hospital yesterday - all for a five minute appointment with a teenager who had patently not read her notes. All we did was gossip and people watch so why I am so tired?

Off to get my toenails done later - hope I don't doze off

Cold and damp here. I just woke up to the sound of the big shredder next door. They cut and shredded all day yesterday and there is still as much of a heap in the back as there was.....
I am out this afternoon singing, so won't hear them then

Good morning. I hope it is. Weatherwise, it's not great and I think the damp and cold have entered my joints. Alie, that sounds promising. They are obviously doing a very thorough job. Do you think they will also give your neighbours a good talking to about garden maintenance?

Snowing here- and I've come back from East Leics at the week-end with the most awful stinking cold- so staying warm, knitting and watching 'Marigold Hotel' and a few other DVDs bought when in the UK later (:

I know the social services are now involved, and my other neighbour saw someone visiting yesterday, so at least I guess they are keeping an eye.....
