Hey (as in hi), Mick! Windy in Auchterarder says we are to get wind from the NW today to blow the clouds away. Not convinced yet.

Morning Mick and all. What can I say. I'm sick of saying it, your probably sick of hearing it. The whole of the U.K is sick of it. It's grey mild and raining in kent today. AGAIN!

Another wet day in East Sussex with very little wind. As the forecast is worse tomorrow it will be shopping today.

Morning! Too dark to tell yet but I suspect it will be grey first thing and then the forecast is for heavy rain!

As it's Thurstay, it must be Sainsburys and mum!

Nice evening in prospect though as DH and DS1 are going to the match! Bloss!

It's snowing here in south Staffs. Cold!

Hi everyone.

I too used to hate the grey wet days but things have changed.

A few years ago a dear friend was in her last few months of life. She phoned to ask me round for a cuppa as she said she had the strength for a chat. It was just tipping it down but I wrapped up and set off. It suddenly came to me that my friend would have done anything to swap places with me to be walking in the rain rather than hooked up to a morphine drip.

So the rain makes me happy to be alive. Hope this isn't a morbid comment.

Good morning everyone. Happy to say that so far this morning we have the sun shining but I doubt it will last too long.

Took my mutant foot to the doctors and he told me that it was snowing in Nottingham..as I left the surgery the snow arrived. Better put some food out for the birds.

Good morning from a cold, dark miserable north east. Off to have lunch with my sisters and say farewell to eldest who is going back to her home in Germany.

Now snowing in Brum. Well they didn't forecast that!

KatyK I was born in Brum 67 years ago and when it was snowing we went to the park in Sutton Coldfield sledging, perhaps you could do that today ?

I seem to remember a big lake and that's all.
