Good Morning Friday

Well just for a change it is grey and miserable here. DH did the airport run, my sister and BIL are flying home via Dusseldorf.

The wind is so cold but it's not raining yet. Took the dog for a walk all wrapped up but still came back cold.

Windy and raining in North Devon. Quite handy in a way, because I can blame the weather for the state of my hair at the interview later, rather then admitting it's well overdue for a cut!

Pouring here now. Just nipped out to pick a bay leaf and the rain is icy. 30secs outside and I'm soaked and freezing. The bay tree is right outside my front door along with most of my herbs.

Gloomy here in Malta as well.

Damp, grey mist and a day when I really should do some housework.

The storm is moving in down here in Devon - high tides too. Think I may hibernate, or find some gopher wood.

Bez you are lucky to find somewhere to repair a sewing machine! They are few and far between in Cheshire/Staffordshire.

I am not going to travel to the Dordogne for a sewing machine where you are.

Morning all. Dry today. Quick get out and about while it lasts. Apparently it's not going to last. Down the park with grandchildren. Hope to wear them out. Out to school musical tonight. Actually they a rather good. Better than my or my own children's day. Must give drama a higher priority nowadays or better teachers. Theres a bar... Perhaps it's the gin that makes it seem better!

Dull and overcast in London, I have an airport run to Luton later with my daughters and then dash back in time to pick up youngest granddaughter from school.. hope the M1 is open today after yesterdays tragic accidents think I'll shove the sat-nav in the car just in case

Just had another phone call and my sewing machine has been fixed and ready to collect!! All coming together today.

Good morning from Dordogne. Cold this morning and grey but have already had a phone call from M Bricolage to say our vanity unit ordered for the downstairs bathroom is now in - Bergerac was on our list for today as have a couple of other things to do there - may well include lunch if I am lucky! Slow cooker on with ham and split pea soup for our meal this evening. Have a good day ladies and happy ironing Kitty .

Morning all from East Sussex. At the moment dry. The forecast has the rain coming tonight. According to official figues we have had twice the monthly average of rain. Only twice, it seems much more than that.
Have got my appointment with the eye specialist for next month. More difficult decisions to make.

Morning all! I should just copy a paste really because it's grey in North Leicestershire again.

Mountains of ironing to do today including THREE lots of bedding. But then we have a visit from DD3 and her babies to look forward to. Sometime we have to fit in a visit to look at the proposed Village Plan and give our opinion. Doubt anyone will take any notice but hey ho!
