And somewhere or other lies the truth.
I have no real idea of the details of the trial or what the prosecution's evidence was. Or how the original guilty verdict was dropped then reinstated. That in legal terms seems very Bizarre.
If it was just something that happened in an awful drug fuelled frenzy, it might well be that the American suspect would never ever get into that situation again. So she is possibly not too dangerous.
