The black outline of the leafless tree look lovely against the pair blues and yellows of the dawn. At least I'm feeling half way to human as this awful cold is letting go.

Dry at the moment in East Sussex. Quite a good day yesterday but a few heavy showers did come up the Channel.
We had an amazing hail storm on Saturday never seen anything like it. Hope today is dry.

Good morning everyone, dry here, lovely day yesterday, and so enjoyed our meal with friends at the Smith and Western, won't have to eat again for a week! Off to take part in my section of the winter pyramid bowls, outdoors, I must be mad, but if it rains we shall not play. The wind will play havoc! Enjoy your days.

Good morning!

Lovely pale pinkish sky in North Leicestershire but it looks cold!

We are going to Suffolk for a few days and I am hoping for stormy seas!

Enjoy your days everyone! sunshine

Morning. Looks mild and a little grey here in kent. I haven't put my nose outside the door so not sure how damp it is. I'm busy sitting under my S.A.D lamp to cheer myself up. Lovely day yesterday the storms/cold snap that was forecast didn't happen so managed to get out for a brisk walk. Work today so best get motivated. Have a good day.

Goo morning it getting overcast here after a pink dawn. Red sky in the morning shepherds warning style.

When I got down this morning around 8:45. I looked out of the back door.

The Sofa throw was still on the washing line, the door of the "Wendy House" wide open and not latched to stop it swinging.
The keys were in the Wendy house door.
Needless to say when I went out to rescue the throw I discovered the back door had not been locked.

It was very good thing it had not been a windy night. One day that shed door is going to be torn off its hinges!
I must lock up at night. (Didn't tell OH as I was the last one to go out there.)

Goo morning??? Well that describes my kitchen floor!

Good morning! It's another sunny start, milder than yesterday and quite windy. Lovely!

I shall be creaking my way through my usual part time/unpaid chores at my ds's house later. I should be very fit considering the number of times I'm up and down stairs!

hmm

grey and mild [no rain as yet] here in Oxfordshire. Some of you get up very early! Not me, I sleep soundly until at least 8.30 most days.Nelliemoser your account of things in the garden made me laugh, and the unlocked back door. I always check the doors are locked [more than once] but DH is a bit lax about this and I sometimes do find it unlocked in the morning. We live in a safe area , but even so!

AlieOxon Mon 03-Feb-14 12:09:48

Is not mild here in Oxon! It's chilly.
Have been out in the garden trying to have a bonfire, with my gardener, but I think the bigger bits of wood are still damp....
I am wearing two coats.

It's actually safe to have one now, as a lot of the dry wood next door is gone. No workmen here yet!
