i'm just wondering how many events he's managed to resist putting himself in for...

Ana your comment on Putin is right on target! He probably had to be held back from competing, unless there is a new sport of wrestling a baby snow leopard or something [an injured wolf?]

Soutra, Putin didn't light the flame, but he got his girl friend to help far more illustrious Russians, such as the female astronaut whose name I can't spell !
The BBC reporter implied she should not have been included.

Anyway enough of self- promoting Putin let's get on with the snow boarding.

Can`t stand Putin, but that won`t stop me watching the games. The opening ceremony was great!
