a new young neighbour knocked to apologise for his boundary fence falling into our garden. I was so relieved that he was nice and reasonable that when he started talking about the things he'd had to do to his new home I began comparing notes and dragged the poor man in to show him around! The poor bloke mumbled something about 'nice house' and made a quick get-away! Why the heck did I do that? blush

Shouldn't worry about it. He's probably gone home talking about how nice the lady next door is. smile

Not really, Galen - OH was here too!

Posie - he's the neighbour at the bottom of the garden but I hope you're right and doesn't think I'm to be avoided!! Lol!

Because you are a nice person.

It's a bit like why do we say sorry when someone bumps into us, or somebody drops something and we pick it up.

I am sure he will be happy to know 'that mad woman' next door is a decent sort. Don't lend him any money though. smile

Did you come over all Mrs Bucket (bouquet).
