I've just been listening to interviews on TV with exhausted volunteers pleading for help, saying that the resources ministers are saying are in place are all very well for the large corporations and utilities infrastructures, but meanwhile they are trying to coordinate rescues in their communities to keep the water at bay, but losing the battle. One made the point that they haven't a clue whether what they're doing is helping or hindering and they need big strong people to take over.

When these interviews were taking place, there wasn't much evidence of police, fire or army being present.

Wet and windy, again! Wondering when it will all improve, such desperate times for those affected by the flooding sad.

Good Morning all! P****d off that it is raining yet again. We have DG2 today and another hospital appointment for DH to have his hand dressed. It is looking very much like the first skin graft has failed will know more later.

Wet, wet, wet in East Sussex. Supposed to be bright by lunchtime.

Good morning from an extremely wet and dismal South Coast - the folk who are living surrounded by water and their belongings ruined must be so depressed and sad, what a horrible time we have had since Christmas. Let us hope we have a lovely warm spring SOON!

Wind and rain in North Devon.

But it would appear that inside my head it is foggy, as I thought I had an interview today and on checking the calendar it's tomorrow blush confused

Bags, can we swop please. I would love some frost and snow to replace the endless soggy, wet, grey, rainy days we have had for, well, it begins to feel endless. It's another of those days here in the north west. The fields are now so muddy, any walks involve slipping and sliding, as well as showers for dogs and self.

Good morning!

We have snow forecast later bags which will at least be a change from grey and rain!

A kitchen morning for me today and then to see mum's SW to do a review. I can see the logic but mum will only get worse and they won't offer any more money so it seems a total waste of time! Still, I really like the SW so it's not all bad.smile

Enjoy your days!sunshine

Just back in a very soggy Thames Valley after a long and happy weekend with the grandchildren. So pleased we live up a hill, many other people in our town are underwater. It must be just awful.
