Good morning everyone, a quiet morning here, and hopefully just a few showers throughout the morning, with a brighter afternoon promised. Well done Bags - I always hated driving and although it would be useful now, I really do not regret it, I always felt I was a danger on the roads. Enjoy your days everyone, and still thinking of those who are suffering the effects of the awful weather.

Well done Bags smile
I haven't looked outside yet but it sounds ok! i think we have been quite 'lucky' here in the East of Scotland - so far.............. I'm glad I live half way up a hill and not on a flood plain

Waking up more light hearted than in several weeks. My daughter had been working part time for a year and was made redundant before Xmas. Yesterday she received a job offer and starts work again on Monday. Seeing the grand children after a school. Almost a perfect day ahead

Thank heavens for a quieter morning after the scary winds yesterday. A tree fell on and crushed a mini just down the road from me - fortunately no one was in it at the time. My garden is full of all kinds of objects that have just blown in through the storm.

Good for you bags! I think your Tshirt should bear the legend "I drove brilliantly in Glasgow." grin

It snowed big wet flakes yesterday evening and my drive home from Cubs was slushy but it is not white outside today, except ont he hills.

I'm feeling very pleased with myself for driving confidently in slush and for driving in Glasgow [terrifiedemoticon] yesterday cos I had to take Minibags for an appointment at the Yorkhill Hospital. Mrbags thinks I'm looking for a t-shirt that says "I drove in Glasgow". No kidding, I never thought I would but needs must.... Funny what you can do when you're a mum and you just bloody have to.
