Things that make you go "Aaaarggh"

Skiing idiots who bomb down without taking care of the little ones on the piste- I tore strips of some of them this week, skiing with my little 4 year old grand-daughter (:

For me it has to be people, particularly youngsters calling me dear or love. I think it sounds so patronizing and makes me feel old and past it.

Also cold callers who assume they know you and what you need!

I may use that one KatyK. I normally say in a loud voice, "you're welcome"!

Being called "sweetheart" by people I've never even met before (does that make me a miserable old so and so?)

KatyK, I sometimes say, "Thank you very much for walking through the door, " in a loud voice. Sometimes people have the grace to blush or say sorry.

Roses - well erm..... he has acquired Meldrew like tendencies the last few years

Today getting on the train.. a woman travelling on her own raced my DGD to the empty 4 seater-table so DH, me and the 2 x DGDs had to sit in two separate places. Not a major problem but just a bit selfish of her as she could not have failed to notice we were a group of four!

And drivers who don't indicate!!! Some of them seem to think they're so important that we should know which way they're headed...

I think everyone has mentioned what would be included in my list. Especially, you guys, infuriates me and I hate all these Americanisms being used here.

I would never correct anyone's grammar but I twitch a bit when someone says, I seen instead of I saw or I done instead of I did.
People who do not know how to use a roundabout ie. those coming from the right have right of way. I have noticed people just sitting there trying to figure out when they can go!

The door opening one drives my DH mad. He said to someone once who just waltzed through a door he had held open 'what did you say?'. She replied 'I didn't say anything'. He said 'oh sorry, I could have sworn you said thank you'.

Nothing much - I'll let all the rest of you say 'Aaarggh' on my behalf.

People who march through shop doors I hold open for them - without a 'thank you I do not get paid to hold that bloody door open, and I just want to kick their arses after they've gone through

(It's usually 'old' people who do that round here - especially coming out of the Garden Centre! )

Yes, henetha! Especially when it's a 40 or 60mph speed limit and they MUST HAVE seen you coming!!!

'Was everything OK with your food?' in a restaurant when you have just put a forkful into your mouth. People who say Skedule instead of schedule.

Meant "haitch" not aitch for h!!!!!!! If that makes sense

When driving, people pulling out in front of me and then driving INFURIATINGLY SLOWLY !!!! Makes me have road rage.....

I don't like to hear "h" pronounced "aitch", I don't know if it's wrong, but sounds if it should be, I've even heard BBC announcers using it!, it sounds awful sort of babyish, a bit like "them things", I used to get a wack from my parents for saying them things instead of those things!

Barmen and similar who say "Are you all right there?" Of course I'm not; I want a drink!

Plus all the above, especially those concerning cyclists and parked cars.

People who pronounce st as sht - We're not German.

People who don't know that marinate is a verb and marinade is a noun. That goes for nearly every TV chef.

People who chew gum especially with their mouths open.

I've said before about the "can I get?" thing! The landlord at our old local used to reply "No you can't, that's my job"
