I forgot one - James Martin TV chef

Hi cross stitch I must have seen Saul Rose at some point (with the Watersons) but can't remember. I did once see all the Lakemans, with Kate Rusby and Kathryn Roberts, in Safeway, which is now Morrison's, in Tavistock. Jim Causley has a most beguiling voice but is, I think, not in the running for heartthrob.

This is going back a bit.... I had a huge crush on an American actor called Larry Parks in the 1950's. He played the part of Al Jolson in "The Jolson story" and "Jolson sings again". For years I had photos of him in my school desk and in my bedroom. He was incredibly handsome.
These days I drool over Matt Damon, and also Michael French of Casualty and EastEnders.

James Stewart, Danny Kaye, Steve Martin, Lew Hoad, Tom Conti.

All the ladies in the office were jealous.

Thanks KatyK I had never heard of him, now I know why, as when that was on tv...... we didn't have a tv to watch.

I remember liking Eric Burden [The Animals], can't think why.

When DD1 was under 5, she had a big crush on Brian Cant from Playschool.
She used to blush whenever he came on!
(Won't remind her of this!)

I have mentioned on here before that as a child, my sister (who is now in her 50s), used to blush when Dickie Henderson came on TV!

Robert Horton (wasn't his horse called Topaz?), Robert Fuller and Adam Faith. More recently - Sean Bean - when he was in Sharp, Alan Rickman and there's something about Phillip Glenister too - even if his hair is receding.

Long long ago Russ Conway (!) and Richard Chamberlain. Then it was Alan Rickman snd Charles Dance. Now I find I have a growing interest in TV history programmes particularly when fronted by "nice young men" such as Tristram Hunt, Dan Snow and the chap who did the Ancient Greeks but whose name I have of course forgotten !

Kitty Paul Jones looks pretty good now and he still has all his hair !!

I shunned up a drain pipe to get his autograph NanKate after a Manfred Mann concert!

One of my BiLs played in a Manfred Mann band - he hasn't aged as well as Paul!

I am sure it was worth it Kitty.

I am listening to YouTube now with 'If you've got to go, go now' one of MM's hits by Bob Dylan. Did they do Watermelon Man too, I liked that a lot. Still got their EPs on vinyl.
