Good Morning Friday

good morning or afternoon I should say. The day started beautifully sun and breeze , so off I went to the grandson's sports day with tee short and light sweater. After about 15 minutes the sun went in and it started to drizzle I was b---- cold by the end of the morning and have only just warmed up. It is still chilly so will not be doing much this afternoon I think.
Might go over to son's house later to see how the decorating and renovations are doing and take him over some strawberry plants and a shirt I bought him.

A greyish start to the day in North Leicestershire but the rain we had first thing has stopped.

I'm off to our new really, really, big Sainsbury's this morning. It has great 'homewares', so it could be really, really expensive!

Morning all. Looks set fair for another beautiful day here on SE Hampshire coast. Off to WI this morning then gardening this afternoon as DH has said he's available then, to help . Got to seize the opportunity!

Celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary yesterday with a special lunch at a posh restaurant. Very nice. Bit better than our wedding reception meal of chicken salad and trifle!

Not a lot planned today, the other half playing in a bowls match, his first for some time, so hope he manages to stay the course. He gets very tired these days, but enjoys his sport.
