Very hot and sunny here on the Island - been busy cutting the grass before it rains like crazy tomorrow (grass won't be thanking me I know but it will get over it).

Bright and sunny here in N Ireland we will be watching the golf and staying hopefully cool

Warming up here in Cheshire.

Good morning, sunny here this morning but it must be coolish because the heating came on at 6am.

Cool at the moment. Car carrier just passed my house en route to Portbury. Container ship went out. Two small motor boats and a yacht coming up channel. It's Bristol Harbour Festival this weekend so I expect it will be busy out there.
There were two beautiful three masters in the floating harbour on Tuesday

Morning all! Looks set to be hot, hot, hot here on the SE Hampshire coast so we did the supermarket trip early and are now enjoying an almond croissant and coffee - our weekly treat.

We were rehearsing "Autumn Leaves" at choir last night - felt very odd with all the sun-kissed bodies, shorts etc. and doors and windows wide open!

Very, very warm here in NW London. The perspiration was dripping off me during the night it was so humid. Apparently possibly 33C tomorrow, at least I can stay indoors, today I am out and about.

Perfect day, up on the Downs and no wind, grass and flowers still, with butterflies enjoying the early sun - lambs and mothers laying in the dewy grass watching the dog as we walk past. Skylarks greeting the morning. Looking South the sea is flat calm with cloud on the horizon.

Nothing planned today, so will enjoy the sun - I absolutely adore this weather - and plan the garden.

Good morning all. Cloudy with sunny intervals here in Northumberland. Might go to Penrith later if DH still wants to visit an ornamental garden. He seems to be going off the idea after seeing the weather forecast, and worrying about how hot it might be. He's now muttering about "pottering in the garden" at home.

Beautiful sunny start to the morning, coffee in the garden and some peace and quiet which is just about tombs disturbed as Dd1 and 2 GDs are staying with us for a couple of days..

Went to Baton Relay celebration in our local,park yesterday. GDs had a great time with plenty to,occupy them, face painting, storytelling and street theatre and of course the baton arriving. DD. Was removing nail polish from GDs nails last night and spilled most of the remover over the arm of my leather sofa! To my amazement, it dried in without any stain! Oh the joys!

Better go make breakfast for the little darlings.

Good morning, it's sunny and fresh at the moment here. I've got all the blinds down at the back of the house as it gets the sun all morning, and it's like a sauna!
I'm lunching out with my chum and we're going to try a different country pub to our usual one. I'm so lucky to live in a beautiful area (despite the airport!)

Too hot last night in East Sussex, could not sleep. Wall to wall blue sky.
Eye consultant says I'm too high a risk for surgery so have to put up with them as they are.m
