Good Morning Saturday

Thank you Dusty I did have a few successes and the show was the best it's been for a few years with more entries than last year and several new people involved. The refreshments looked tempting but as I'm on 500 calories today I just had a cup of tea with no milk.

Rained all night with thunder in the distance. Very heavy clouds and extremely humid this morning

Lots of granny bonnets scrambling around and from a distance look as if someone has scattered a box of tissues. Green fields are now golden waiting to be harvested. Saw my first ripe blackberry.

Came back and showered again - so sticky.

Spoke to Mum (96) on the phone, who is finding this weather very difficult. She said she is so tired, so I advised her to go back to bed and I will pop over later.

Starting to think about what to take on our annual trip to Cornwall with the grandchildren. Surfboards etc.

Good morning, not much sunshine here either this morning. It's overcast with some very big black clouds on the horizon. I hope we do get the promised rain, my parched garden will be very grateful.

Morning all. No storms here in east Cornwall. Village show today so I'm anxious about my hastily done baking (due to London trip) and few bits from garden.

Good morning, grey sky today but we have not had any rain. Restful day today because yesterday was DIL's birthday and the GC were bouncing off the walls. Today the GC are off on holiday for two weeks, Scottish Grans ... sorry for the noise

Morning everyone. As Lona says, the storms reached here in the small hours. The thunder was quite far from Poynton, but the lightning was almost continuous. Now it's raining stair-rods. Plans to go out this morning are rapidly being shelved.

Happy Saturday All....My region desperately needs rain...wish we could gather up some thunderheads and move them far west!

I am heading to the nursery to choose rose companion plants this morning. Weather will be warm, sunny with pretty clouds, with late afternoon bearing a strong cooling breeze. I hope to spend my time on crafty outdoor projects.

Being taken out to lunch today by my sister for my birthday which is on Monday....she is going abroad for a week. Monday, everyone is tied up!
Will go to my daughter's tomorrow probably.

I need to wash my hair and write an urgent letter before they come.

Morning Mick and everyone. We had a small thunder storm about 11pm last night her on SE Hampshire coast, and it's been wet on and off since. On at present. Still muggy.

Morning! We got the rain and thunder at 3am and it seemed to go on for ages.
It's now very gloomy and persisting down. However, the forecast for tomorrow is sunshine again

Exercise class this morning, followed by group coffee and then home to (maybe) clean the cooker top don't hold your breath

Good morning one and all. It's very dull with intermittent showers here in Northumberland. The storms haven't reached us yet. It's very warm even without the sun. Coming home from work at 07.00 the car registered 17°c external temp. Not much going on here today. DS coming for lunch,and I'm spending the day just chilling out.

What a night ! About 8pm last night we watch a spectacular sky as the storm rolled in. It hit about an hour later and lasted a couple of hours. Then peace until 3am when the next lot arrived. The garden is a mess

It's still wet and dull here after an absolutely sodden and thundery night! It's still flipping hot though!

Today, DD3 is going to a wedding with the Idiot so we have two very bewildered under threes to look after!

We did get the storm last night not alot of noise till this morning about 5-15 one hell of a bang . I dont know who fell out of bed first the cat or me Anyway it doesn't look to healthy at tne moment.I need it to brighten up as I have GD 14 and GRS 7 coming today.

Good morning all. It's raining and thundering gently in Cheshire right now. Not stair rods but very wet. You can sort if feel the thunder in one of those thundery head aches.
