I didn't see the first post and title as a 'light hearted observation'. I assumed the event which happened had been described to Felice was being blamed on H&S by either the people in the shop or her informant and reacted accordingly.

Jingle that is rubbish - there is absolutely no way at all that anyone could have known it was meant to be humorous - in fact, I don't believe it was meant to be and OP used that as a defence once s/ he was disagreed with. Plus, someone could post something meaning it to be humorous which actually upset someone else - we have aright to respond as we wish in either case. The use of nanny state and elf and safety are well known right wing trigger words used negatively to put down anyone who thinks H&S matters. I was listening to You and Your today and there was an interesting -- nanny state/ elf and safety--topic about soldiers losing their hearing as a result of serving in tanks. A serious discussion about the research necessary to protect them followed - laugh, I nearly cried

I'm not sure what they sell at KFC, but imagine it's something called chicken nuggets. In which case it's lumps of chicken bits all mushed up with artificial flavourings and some starchy stuff, rolled in crumbs and fried.
So no bones.

Why do some posters feel it necessary to put down those of us who express strong and serious opinions on topics that the ' put- downers' disagree with?

Same reason that some posters can't pass an oh-god-this-can't-be-true-can-it?-I-must-post-it-on-the-forum without turning it into an improving treatise, I expect. That is, because different people see things from different angles, and there is, actually, a funny side to a chicken outlet that claims that it can't sell chicken with a bone in it.

But Elegan it wasn't posted like that- that's the point.

I have not had KFC for years! I used to love it as a teen/young adult and it was always proper chicken pieces then. Chicken nuggets/dippers etc are often reconstituted chicken so only crushed and pulped bone included

I had it once. Never again!

I love their fillet burgers. Real chicken, not ground up stuff...

jingle must be a record, I agree with you twice in half a day! my one and only KFC was so revolting it has never been repeated. They may well be much better these days though.
