Another mouse in the humane trap this morning. Had to take a long walk to release it at 7.30am.

Good morning Mick and everyone. Cloudy with sunny intervals in Northumberland today, rather windy too. Had a long lie this morning, that was a mistake as I've got a headache now.

Morning all - lovely day here in the land of the pork pie and Stilton cheese. Some health statistics have been reported in our local paper this weekend and apparently we are to be congratulated because only 20% of our population are obese which is lower than the national average!

We spent it waiting for news of the imminent passing of DS's best man and uni friend with terminal cancer. On Friday he was given 2 days to 2 weeks max. left. All very sad - he has two young teenage boys who are devastated. As is DS. Can't get him out of my mind.
