Bella heartfelt condolences to your family, you have so many health issues, but you always seem positive, I hope the next year is better for you. for you.
Bella I am at a loss, as no words can make your sadness any less.
Your poor dh has enough to contend with too. I am sending another virtual (((hug)))) for you, and reassurance that we are always here for you, to lend a shoulder and a listening ear.
Please can I add my condolences Bella. Your little DGD will give you some light and joy in all the darkness you are enduring right now. Surely there must be some good news for you and your family soon? It can't go on like this. It's just not fair.
Sending positive vibes and a virtual hug across the miles.
Bella I'm so sorry for your loss, what a hard time you are having. The little ones do bring such joy though as you say its hard to be sad when you watch them. There is hope I'm sure for more cures and earlier detection of serious disease- she will grow up in world of ever more clinical technology and medical treatments.
I hope the baking went well- cake is soul food - have a restful day xxx
Thank you all, you are so kind and your virtual hugs are appreciated more than you know.
I am currently playing with three year old DGD. You can't be miserable with her around. So sweet and innocent but I fear for her future with all this cancer in the family.
On a brighter note, DD2 is baking and there are divine smells emanating from my kitchen. Will save you some
Although I have lots of nonsensical stuff racing around in my head, I cannot think of anything of value to say since reading Bella's message. I shall sit quietly and reflect on the meaning of life.
Bella our darling girl, I'm so sorry to hear the sad news. How heart breaking for every member of your family. We, the Kitcheners send you loving thoughts. Please...never feel that you cannot confide in us. I wish with all my heart that I could do something useful for you.
Oh Bella such sad and devastating news for you and all your family. One sometimes wonders how one family have so much sadness to deal with and how they come through it all.
I seem to pop in here too often with bad news . I apologise if it brings the mood down but you have all been so kind through my recent trials and tribulations.
We have just returned from the hospital. My DH's eldest sister passed away this morning so we went to say our last goodbyes to a very kind and lovely lady. Poor DH is heartbroken. It has come as a big shock as she was only diagnosed a couple of weeks ago. Apparently she had found a lump three years ago but told nobody, not even her husband. So sad. It is also her daughter's birthday today (44), poor girl lost her husband to cancer almost two years ago and now her mum
Hello all just a quick slurp of coffee for me- hoping you are all well and perky- back later after mixed pairs golf- only 9 holes its meant to keep us agile and sociable!!!
I am blinded by science! DH has an iPad and aa Apple Mac computer - I make do with a Samsung phone and a Dell laptop which is 5-6 years old and VERY temperamental. I fear anything more technologically sophisticated would be wasted on me though. Hope you have all had a good weekend , one for being busy in the garden I suspect. I have been tidying and sweeping and bagging up dead heads and clippings so feel quite virtuous. The ground is rock hard so dealing with the weeds may have to wait until we get some rain to soften it. Well that's my excuse and I am sticking to it!!
I am getting used to it now Crafting. But it did take me by surprise while I was posting using it for the first time. It's only on GN that the emoticons come up as little squares I think. I've used them in emails and on FB and they come up as typed. It is the predictive text at the top of the keyboard which is most annoying though. Similar to that on Android phones. I am told all the bad press about iOS 8 was due to problems with the new iPhones and has now been sorted. Such fun!
Purpledaffodil I had better not upgrade my iPad. It took me long enough how to do smileys on my current one. Don't know how I would cope if they come up as squares
