Good Morning all. The sky's a hard light-grey, and it's cold. A promise of later in the day. More layers of togs needed for my morning tramp.

Good morning , snow here today. I'm house sitting a friend's house at the top of the hill whilst my house is knocked apart by 'unbuilders'. I have osteoporosis so do not dare to try to go out at all until the snow has gone.I hope I'm not going to be stranded here for too long, it's going to get very lonely and isolated. However on the positive side I might actually get my Christmas cards written today.

Very cold and frosty here in NW London. I will be going to the gym shortly but I will have to defrost my car which I hate doing.

Good morning all, frost here too, but I think it is going to be a bright day (well, I can dream, can't I?). Having Sunday lunch today, as I am off out to bowl tomorrow afternoon, and the other half does like his Sunday lunch which I will not have if I am playing bowls. My whole week next week will be a complete mess up with days! Enjoy your days.

Frosty in Northumberland. Coming out of work at 07.00 I slipped on a frozen puddle beside the car, and landed on my bottom. Now I am stiff about the nether regions. Ouch!

Bright and sunny here in mid Essex but cold and an overnight frost. It's easier to cope with the cold if there is a bit of sunshine and no wind.

Bright and sunny here too. Very cold but no sign of frost when visiting dog got me out of bed at five - visiting DGS slept in til six!

Morning.... Not a cloud in the sky but very cold, will walk into town face up to the sun (keeps SAD away Hoorah!) Must watch out for icy puddles tho eh hilda?

Bright and cold in NE Cheshire. There's still hoar frost on the garden and the car.

Good morning from a very cold north east. We had a harsh frost last night. Woken at 7.30 by neighbour's car alarm which caused me to jump out of bed. We had a gang of car thief/burglars park under our CCTV the other night and they went round the street. We filmed them, took it to the police station and guess what they were closed 9-5 police. E-mailed the police and told them we had photo evidence, haven't even acknowledged it.

Coldest day so far - mud was frozen so makes for easier walking. Blackbirds having a breakfast of berries were annoyed at our intrusion, and the pheasants and rabbits scattered as the dog raced hither and thither being a pain.
