Dark and cold in North Leicestershire this morning! I was really looking forward to meeting up with another Gransnetter this morning (hope she got my pm!!) but I'm having to cancel as my Sil has announced that she is leaving my brother and he is distraught and needs his big sister!

Very frosty here I have a cancelled meeting today so I shall make good use of the time and ice the Christmas cake while DH is playing in a bowls comp.

Morning all. Very cold but sunny in East Sussex. No wind however. This no wind thing is very strange for the Weald as being a high point in East Sussex there is usually a wind so several days of calm is unusual.
I believe we are all in for stormy weather. Hope all in the north stay safe.

Clear and cold so far here in Manchester, but rain is on its way. Having been away for a few days, I am now faced with a massive list of jobs to be done - and I'm not really in the mood for them.

Cold, frosty and bright here too. Any minute now the men will arrive to start replacing the double glazing! They have assured me they will only do one at a time - old window out, new one in. Still I will be able to get on with present wrapping and card writing between makeng tea and coffee.

Good morning from Cheshire. I drew the curtains just in time for the tail end of a gorgeous sunrise. Two minutes later the pink wisps of clouds had gone and now it's just an average winter day.

Good morning, it is completely overcast this morning and I have all the lights on just to see to type. DS rang this morning to congratulate me on winning GD's school raffle and I have to collect the prize tomorrow when I go to the Nativity play. Apparently I have won a Kielder forest experience, whatever that entails

A horrible morning on the Ards Peninsula - the stormy weather has started - winds and rain and so dark that I need the lights on to type. Mmmm - think we need a stormy weather smiley!!

Batten down the hatches everyone, a 'weather bomb' is coming, according to Carol on the TV this morning.
I am waiting for a pink Christmas tree to be delivered (it should have been here last week) it is for our Christmas tree festival and I need to put it up on Thursday. (Thank goodness a friend has offered me her white one if needed.) I think I should do the printing I need to do now in case the storm leaves us without power.
