Good morning everyone. I'm currently saying with DD and her family on the Rosneath peninsula. It's cold ,f rosty and foggy here. OH and I are going home after lunch. The DGC all liked their Christmas gifts. It's been lovely to see them.

Good morning, it's sunny and comparatively chilly here. We very rarely get frosts but my outside poinsettias are looking decidedly the worse for wear. Mind you it might be that they need watering, I tend to forget that they are in pots.

He was weeding! He's now had a cup of coffee and is using his favourite toy, my carpet cleaner, on hall carpet where sil trod mud in.

Blimey! what's he doing in the garden? Make him a nice cup of coffee he must need it.

Mine's frozen as well! (So is Gary the gardner by the look of him)

First time that the garden pond has frozen for at least a couple of years - but the most glorious day. Haven't been out with the dog since Christmas Eve as throat bad. Aim to start again on NYD. DH been doing it for me, as well as his own stint in the afternoon.

Good morning, harsh frost here in the north east but the sun is shining. I am off to the medical centre to have a blood test. They have ascertained that I do not have pneumonia so now they are checking for heart failure.

We have an 'interesting' stew for dinner tonight. I used all the leftovers in one pot...beef,pork and lamb.

Cold, frosty but pretty bright here in mid Essex. Not much planned for today.

It's flipping freezing in North Leicestershire - actually and metaphorically! As there was a frost due, we decided to leave the heating on overnight but to turn the temperature down at bed time!! DH forgot!

I must get up and get going as we have 18 people here for alcoholic and non-alcoholic Shepherd's Pie at lunch time. Then, mum's health permitting, I'm going to sit down!
