We have done it before, shall we do it again?
Come on Ladies and pick up your pen,
A four line poem can be a bit fun,
That's my four lines, now I am done.

Oh my goodness! Can it be true?
All this rudery, that's coming through
Your words will cause so many blushes
Reddened cheeks and such hot flushes!

Galen Wed 07-Jan-15 20:23:00

So sorry for that
I'll go back to chat
To save people's blushes
I'll beat round the bushes

Ana Wed 07-Jan-15 20:51:23

Galen, that's very scary
Of my GP I'll be wary
If I ask about warts
What will be his thoughts? shock

Your name could convey something of you
It could be a hobby or something you do
It could be a nickname or numerous things
But Pompa's should now be "Lord of the Rings"!

crafting grin

Grin is an anagram of ring
Both are words which bring
about much hilarity
And one ensures a certain parity!

Sorry for causing any blushes
And sorry Mini for your flushes
Innuendo is the cause ..
Or perhaps the menopause blush

pompa Wed 07-Jan-15 21:06:51

Newist may grin and bite her tongue
but she feels some silly clown
among the GN'ers here,
has dragged her thread down

Katek Wed 07-Jan-15 21:07:52

I suddenly had this scary thought
Which I hope does not appall
Does this mean that Pompa
Has one ring to rule us all?

Galen Wed 07-Jan-15 21:13:15

grin

pompa Wed 07-Jan-15 21:19:32

There seems to be some concern
only one ring exists but take it from me
there is not need for worry or fret
from EBay, they were £2.99 for three

The youngsters would be shocked
If they knew the things we said
But if we don't even think of sex
We might as well be dead.

pompa Wed 07-Jan-15 21:39:32

Kids have tried to shock us before
sneaked on our threads with a plan
but the lesson they learn't
was don't mess with a gran

Grans can be flirty
Grans can be flighty
They don't have to wear
A winceyette nightie

Galen Wed 07-Jan-15 22:06:37

What is a nightie?
Don't you sleep in the nude?
Chanel number 5 is suffiently flighty
To do else wise says you're a prude!

moon

Galen Wed 07-Jan-15 22:07:34

Ps. I do wear a nightdress!

NanKate Wed 07-Jan-15 22:17:00

Is it flimsy and red
What you wear in your bed ?
Or fluffy and woolly
Like my old Nan's pully.

vampirequeen Wed 07-Jan-15 22:26:09

Is it flimsy or frilly
Sexy or silly
With a slit up the side?
Do you wear it with pride?

pompa Wed 07-Jan-15 22:37:51

When it comes to night attire
mine's pinkish and wrinklyish
to give it an iron DW tried in vain,
as, in parts, I was far to ticklish

Mishap Wed 07-Jan-15 22:38:29

On the subject of going to bed
"I hate pyjamas" my old man said
My middle is squashed, they're much too tighty
So I've sent off for a real man's nightie

Nelliemoser Wed 07-Jan-15 22:41:42

A nighties far too cold for me,
I need to sleep quite warm you see,
I go to bed in fleecy socks,
And I don't care at all who mocks.

Juliette Wed 07-Jan-15 22:50:57

Goodnight all Gransnetters.
It's off to bed for me
I'm wearing my warm nightie and
I've had a little pee. moon

pompa Wed 07-Jan-15 22:52:32

We snuggle down, each in our place
I popped out, for a mid night piddle
Oh my, there has been a coup
and her half is now the middle

Nelliemoser Wed 07-Jan-15 23:21:11

A prude and proud, is what I say
(I don't much like Chanel anyway.)
Our Galen's abed, in posh scent she is dressed.
But we can be sure, she's not wearing her vest.
